Anybody know anything on this weird military aircraft?

    Anybody know anything on this weird military aircraft?

     I found this oddity recently and wonder if anybody knows any details. I tnow know it is connected to USAF, but anybody any idea as it is and what it was used for as i am not convinced it made active service :

    It's a simulation aircraft that was indeed used by the USAF and I believe was only recently retired. It's now at the USAF museum at Wright-Patterson AFB.

    The Aircraft is an NC-131H (TIFS- Total In-Flight Simulation) operated by Calspan , check out their website for details
