Boeing took orders for 11 new 737 aircraft in the week ended September 1, but two orders for 777s were cancelled, the company said on Thursday.
The changes in Boeing's order book bring the company's net orders to 70 for 2009. Boeing has taken 161 orders and 91 cancellations this year.
Turkmenistan Airlines ordered three 737s in the most recent reporting period. Boeing did not say who ordered the other eight 737s. The company also did not disclose who cancelled the two 777 orders.
Boeing and rival Airbus have suffered this year as carriers and air cargo operators grapple with recession in many parts of the world.
