FLEET NEWS
Flybe BAe 146 G-JEAJ (E2099) was reported at Southend on Sunday as OE-IAA for Amerer Air, though with marks & titles overtaped.
Monarch now has both A330s back in service after G-SMAN returned from repair at Manchester this evening as MON852P.

Proposed 24-hour stoppages by baggage handlers & check-in staff employed by Swissport over Bank Holiday Monday 25th August & on the following Friday would affect Air Malta, Air Transat, KD Avia, Northwest, Oman Air, TAP, Virgin Atlantic & Virgin Nigeria.
With the Competition Commission due to issue its report into the BAA later this week, speculation continues to mount (yet again) that the BAA will be forced to put Gatwick up for sale. A number of bidders have already declared themselves ready to pay the estimated £3 billion asking price & the rumour that a new owner would ask the government to overturn the existing agreement with West Sussex County Council not to build a second runway at the airport before 2019 has surfaced once more.
