    Mojave Airport bans photography

AB members who travel to Mojave Airport should be aware that with effect
from 1 October 2009 all photography on the airside has been prohibited
although the irregular airside tour by coach van is available for the usual
    $5.

The prohibition has been introduced in response to complaints form aircraft
operators and lessors that images of stored aircraft were being used as
back-drops in YouTube videos and on social network sites.

A visit last Thursday, 15th October, confirmed the above prohibition and NO
means NO to the extent that we were encouraged to leave or cameras either in
our vehicles or in the airport administration offices while availing of the
    airside tour.

There were also prominent signs at all landside/airside boundary gates
    discouraging photography.

    An unfortunate turn-of-events.

He who laughs last obviously has'nt heard the bad news.

Too bad, but what will that mean for aircraft which are being stored at other airports.

    You can't hide the planes...

Succes should not go to head and failure should not go to heart.
