Well spotted, pity we couldn't have got this info through to the poor passengers stranded in Glasgow and Calgary. They were being fed complete rubbish about mechanical faults and other twaddle

The airline execs should be held accountable, how could they not foresee the breaking point? Fuel prices rise and have been all year and they are not big enough to swallow them up (although who is?) people pay their money in good faith only to get stiffed quite spectacularly in some cases. I heard on the news this morning that some couples are having to pay £2000 to get back home. Will they get their money back? Probably not. I wonder if the small print on their holiday insurance covers this as well. Someone should have seen this and pulled the plug much earlier.

Good point...reports are showing over 900 people still stranded and over 40,000 affected by the closure...

A bit more on the fleet C-GZMM arrived at Cardiff .....so how does this affect Zoom UK?

My money will be on Flyglobespan to be the next...we have already lost Silverjet, Maxjet and EOS

    So long ZOOM!!

    Zooming out of Manchester

A sign of the times...... its not just house prices and banks..but Airlines too! can fall. It starts you thinking about the fragility of the economic climate and some of the under lying reasons. My thoughts tonight are with the staff who have lost their jobs
