I don't really get it...., I mean I understand that it was worth creating a new legal entity when taking a risk (however limited) starting a route city pair new to BA..., but why go to all of the trouble with pilot's seniority lists and other administration issues, why bother to differentiate the interiors and "product" (seats and classes) and then make the airplane look like just another BA aircraft with "Open Skies" written down the side?
I guess I just imagined that if they were going to minimize the risk to the image of parent airline in case of failure, that they'd make the aircraft really look different.
..and I'm not trying to say that BA's image is exactly shiny at the moment
Do you think BA was worried that Maggie Thatcher would turn up with a REALLY big handkerchief?
