Nigel, To clarify the concept of the campaign - it is a celebration of 100 years of Flight. And as such is a search to find the 100 Greatest things (aircraft, events, etc ...) in the last 100 years. i.e. 1909-2009. As such the first flight in 1903 is not included, but the Wright Brothers are included...

Hi Victor, Yes, after taking into the account all the nominations (and after plenty of arguments and debate), a shortlist for all the categories has now been published for you all to vote on. It has been a very difficult task considering all individual nominations and the variety of choices available...
