EBACE 2008: Innotech extends its palette

Montreal-based Innotech Aviation is here to drum up trade for its new 41,000ft² paint preparation and application facility, scheduled to enter service in July.

The paint shop rounds out Innotech’s portfolio at Montreal’s Dorval airport, where it also offers completions, refurbishments, maintenance, avionics work and engineering. Designed to accept business aircraft as large as the Bombardier Global XR, the shop is described as the most modern and technologically advanced hangar for high-quality paint applications in North America.

It features state-of-the-art filters, an independent waste-water cleaning system, variable-speed airflow to eliminate the need for pressurisation, and the ability to apply paint electrostatically. It can ventilate and spray with a nose-to-tail cross-draught, resulting in cleaner application, better adhesion and substantially less paint waste than with conventional spray methods.
