Technical Instructor

Due to a significant increase in training demand, the Training Department has opportunities for Instructors in all Aircraft Engineering disciplines. You will join an established team of multi-disciplined engineers to work on course development and presentation of a range of technical subjects using the latest tools and training technology.

Subjects will include EASA Part 66 modules, core skills and structures /systems for Military, Business, Regional and Commercial Aircraft (particularly C-130, Cessna Citation, and the Boeing and Airbus families).

Activities will include the construction of course syllabi, presentation design and the development of course notes to the standards required in accordance with EASA Part 147.

These roles:

• may involve some travel;
• will take responsibility for complete work packages, making a significant contribution to the training team’s function and capabilities;
• will provide opportunity to gain experience across a broad spectrum of activities and the development of technical expertise will be encouraged;

Applicants will need:

• One or more aircraft type courses/approvals on the above aircraft;
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Paint Shop Pro.
• Good communication, motivational and leadership skills.
• The ability to work on their own initiative.

Training will be available to develop instructional capability including both managerial and technical skills as needed.
