One of the last legacies of SR Technics and its contract with Gulf Air arrived in Shannon today. The aircraft is B767-3P6ER registered N183AQ, msn 24496. Originally built for Gulf Air as A40-GK in 1989 it was transferred to the Bahraini register in 2007 as A9C-GK before being cancelled to the US on May 7 of this year. Pictured above N183AQ is seen in the old Gulf Air colours, minus titles about to touch down on R24. The aircraft subsequently parked on Twy 7.

Captains Steven Derebey and Steven Shattuck were the operating flight crew. There were no mechanical difficulties (SR Technics did an outstanding job) encountered during  pre and post flight operations.
