Today, GECAS ferried B737-86N, msn 28612 from Ostrava to Shannon where the aircraft will be painted in the colours of South African low cost carrier Kulula. The aircraft is currently registered OK-PIK, marks it took up when it was repossesed by the leasing company following the demise of its previous French operator Axis Airways. The previous registration F-GIRS is still visible under the Czech marks. Pictured above, OK-PIK is seen on arrival on R06 at Shannon which had escaped the snow, if not the sub zero temperatures until today.
