Heliswiss at Cork with Super Puma HB-XVY

Cork airport has had its share of large heicopter types over the year, mostly related to offshore work or SAR, but today it had a visitor on a rather more unusual mission. Heliswiss International's AS332C1 Super Puma registered HB-XVY (msn 2033) arrived from Birmingham this morning. After refueling, the craft departed for its task to lift a digital antenna onto a mountain top along the Cork-Kerry border. After completing the lift the helicopter departed for Cherbourg from where it is expected to position to Paris on Monday next before returning to Birmingham. Pictured above and below by Paul Daly, HB-XVY is seen during its visit to Cork Airport.
