HZ-MF5 in Shannon

Gulfstream Aerospace announced in 2002 that it was to introduce the model 300 aircraft, a mid range variant of the Gulfstream family. The aircraft was intended to compete directly with the Bombardier Challenger 604 and Dassault’s Falcon 2000EX. In total just 13 Gulfstream 300 aircraft were built between 2003 and 2004 when the Gulfstream IV aircraft was replaced with the Gulfstream 400. The penultimate aircraft, msn 1532 was acquired by the Saudi Ministry of Finance and registered HZ-MF5. Pictured above, HZ-MF5 is seen departing Shannon yesterday afternoon.
