Ryanair today condemned what it says are “politically motivated actions” by Italy’s Civil Aviation Authority, ENAC which led to the carrier being fined €3m for 178 violations of the EU261 regulation between Saturday 17 th April and Thursday 22 nd April. Ryanair announced today that it had reached agreement with the Italian civil aviation authority, ENAC regarding the production of passenger ID at check in. Ryanair to cease Italian domestic operations from January

Ryanair yesterday gave one month's notice of its intention to temporarily stop domestic operations from its ten Italian bases as of January 23 next.
