Air Mekong is to enter the domestic Vietnamese market in October of this year with 4 Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft. Utah based SkyWest is to take a minority shareholding in the new operation. When Italian airline MyAir collapsed in July 2009 it marked the failure of the first low cost carrier that year.
