Ash Cloud forces Omni to relocate from Shannon to Oslo

There was more bad news for Shannon yesterday as it emerged that Omni Air International has decided with immediate effect to use Oslo as its base for technical stops as a direct result of the volcanic eruptions in Iceland. Omni Air's N531AX in new colours

Oklahoma based Omni Air International has commenced the process of repainting its Dc10 aircraft in the carrier's latest colours. The first aircraft to undergo the transformation is Dc10-30 registered N531AX (msn 48316). The aircraft positioned to Shannon last night, arriving at approximately 18:40 utc and was pictured this morning on stand 30. Read More...
N378AX on delivery to Omni Air

An early morning arrival in Shannon this morning was the third and latest B767-300 aircraft for Omni Air International. The aircraft is a B767-33A, msn 28147 and was previously operated by Alitalia as I-DEIL. Omni Air's N108AX makes wx diversion to Dublin

Omni Air's Dc10-30 N108AX was a fugitive from the Shannon weather on Monday morning when it diverted to Dublin on what is believed to be its first visit to the Capital.
