Ryanair issued its passenger figures for June 2010 this week. A total of 6.71m passengers booked seats to fly on Ryanair services compared to 5.84m in June 2009. Loadfactor for the month was 84%, down 1% on the June 2009 figure. Ryanair again calls for sale of Stansted Airport

Ryanair's May Traffic Figures

Ryanair today issued its passenger figures for May 2010. The airline sold 6.64m seats during the month, up 17% YoY on the May 2009 figure of 5.51m. This figure includes 250,000 passengers who booked seats for travel during May but whose flights were cancelled due to the volcanic eruptions in Iceland. Ryanair announced its full year end results to the end of March 2010. Ryanair blames Government for continued decline in Irish market

Ryanair published today what it claims is “irrefutable evidence that the Irish Government is responsible for the collapse in Irish tourism”.
