On Wednesday, Aer Lingus published its June traffic figures for 2010. A total of 941,000 passengers were carried for the month, a figure which represents an 8.6% decrease on June 2009. EU Court dismisses Ryanair appeal against hostile takeover bid

On Tuesday last, July 6, the European Union General Court in Luxembourg dismissed Ryanair’s appeal to the court against the prohibition of the carrier’s hostile takeover bid for Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus awards base maintenance contract for A320 aircraft to Dublin Aerospace

On Monday last, July 5, Aer Lingus announced that it had awarded a contract for a significant portion of its base maintenance requirements to Dublin Aerospace. Aer Lingus issued an interim management statement on Tuesday last May 4 which covers the trading period of Q1 2010. Aer Lingus announced its passenger figures for April 2001. As to be expected the Icelandic volcanic eruptions have impacted on the carriers performance for last month. Aer Lingus today published its traffic figures for March 2010. For the month of March 20910 the airline carried a total of 782,000 passengers which represents a 6.3% YoY decrease.
