Following painting at the Eirtech Aviation facility in Shannon and an engine Change at Air Atlanta Aero Engineering, Boeing 737-33V msn 29337 registered 5N-VND (hex 064074) was delivered to the latest reincarnation of Virgin Nigeria – Air Nigeria. Friday last saw one of Shannon’s long term residents, Boeing 737-3M8, msn 25017 registered to Wells Fargo as N389DF. The aircraft is the former EI-DTY which had been operated by Russian operator KD Avia prior to that carrier’s collapse last year. Air Contractors Boeing 737-31S registered EI-STA made its first visit to Shannon yesterday. Air Italy took delivery of Boeing 737-36N, msn 28561 yesterday. The aircraft is registered EI-IGR (hex code 4CA86F) and departed Shannon on delivery to Verona using trip number AEY148P. Boeing 737-36N, msn 28561 will be leased to Air Italy shortly as EI-IGR. It arrived in Shannon as N561SM on December 2 last at the end of its lease to China Eastern.
