Two non scheduled visitors to Cork today were Spanish operator Mint Airways and CSA. The former was represented by Boeing 757-28A msn 26276 which was registered EC-LBC just over a year ago in May 2009. The aircraft will be familiar to many as the former FlyGlobespan machine G-CEJM. SX-BTH in Cork

Greek operator Sky Wings visited Cork today with B757-29J registered SX-BTH. Built in 1994 with msn 27204 the aircraft spent its life in the Far East until May 2008 when it was acquired by Boeing as N410JR. In September 2009, Sky Wings which is owned by Khors Air 29% and Greek investors 51% took the aircraft in hand and it assumed its current Greek marks. SX... Read More...
Delta to extend Shannon - New York service to year round

Although Shannon has had more bad news than it can cope with of late, Delta Airlines has announced that it is to extend the seasonal Shannon – New York service to year round, incorporating full USCBP clearance. DHL's D-ALED in Dublin

Reorganisation of DHL’s air transport has led to the transfer of eleven Boeing 757 freighters from the Belgian register to the German register. The aircraft are now operated by EAT Leipzig. Among those affected by the transfer was Boeing 757-236F registered OO-DLP, msn 22179. As of March 26 last the aircraft was reregistered D-ALED in which marks it visited... Read More...
