The Minister for Tranpsort, Noel Dempsey has written to the Aviation Regulator Cathal Guiomard, directing that the passenger handling fee for Dublin Airport be set in such a manner as will allow the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) recoup the capital investment program which includes the construction of T2. AEA gets its facts wrong in attack on IAA

The Brussels based Association of European Airlines, of which Aer Lingus is a member, today launched attacks on the Irish government and the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) both of whom it claimed were determined to make Ireland a no fly zone. Ryanair welcomes BAA decision

Ryanair was quick to respond to today's news that the BAA had reached an agreement to sell London's Gatwick Airport for £1.5bn.
