Although Shannon has had more bad news than it can cope with of late, Delta Airlines has announced that it is to extend the seasonal Shannon – New York service to year round, incorporating full USCBP clearance. Delta Airline's N171DZ Habitat for Humanity in Dublin

In 2006 Delta Airline’s B767-332ER (msn 29690) registered N171DZ was painted in a special scheme honouring worldwide housing charity Habitat for Humanity. This morning's Northwest Airlines flight NWA 252 from Detroit to Amsterdam diverted to Shannon. The flight operated by Airbus A330 N856NW departed Shannon for Amsterdam at approximately 04.00 am local.
