Boeing 737-36N, msn 28561 will be leased to Air Italy shortly as EI-IGR. It arrived in Shannon as N561SM on December 2 last at the end of its lease to China Eastern. GECAS is to lease B737-86N msn 28591 to Egyptian operator Midwest. The aircraft emerged from the Eirtech paint hangar in Shannon yesterday wearing registration N112MN. The aircraft had previously been leased as F-GZZA to French operator Axis Airways who folded in November 2009. Read More...

Today, GECAS ferried B737-86N, msn 28612 from Ostrava to Shannon where the aircraft will be painted in the colours of South African low cost carrier Kulula. Following the collapse of skyeurope, GECAS took back a number of aircraft which had been operated by the Slovak low cost carrier. Among these was B737-76N OM-NGK, msn 34756 which was subsequently transferred to the Czech register as OK-GCF. GECAS owned B737-76N registered OK-GCF arrived in Shannon from Ostrava this morning. The aircraft is msn 34756 and was previously registered OM-NGK with Slovak operator skyeurope. After a two week stopover in Shannon B737-752 N297MD was delivered to Istanbul Ataturk this afternoon. The aircraft is owned by GECAS and is reportedly going on lease to Andolu Jet, having arrived in Shannon from Howard Air Force base in Panama on October 15 last. B737-752 msn 34297 finally arrived in Shannon yesterday evening from Howard Air Force base in Panama. The aircraft is a 2005 build machine which was delivered by GECAS to Aero Mexico as EI-DMX before taking up marks XA-MAY last year. In mid July of this year it was placed on the US register.
