Although they named it "Faith", even that wasn't enough in the end. Last December Nigerian operator Bellview Airlines intended to take delivery of B767-3P6, msn 24496 as 5N-BVA but that was something which never happened. Privately owned Nigerian operator Bellview Airlines is attempting to get back in the air with former Gulf Air B767-3P6, msn 24496 registered A9C-GK. Until recently the aircraft was a long term inmate at Dublin Airport where it had been one of a number of machines covered by SR Technics contract with Gulf Air. One of the last legacies of SR Technics and its contract with Gulf Air arrived in Shannon today. The aircraft is B767-3P6ER registered N183AQ, msn 24496. Originally built for Gulf Air as A40-GK in 1989 it was transferred to the Bahraini register in 2007 as A9C-GK before being cancelled to the US on May 7 of this year.
