The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) has published the traffic statistics for October which see no short term change on the horizon for the current depressed state of play in the airline industry. AEA gets its facts wrong in attack on IAA

The Brussels based Association of European Airlines, of which Aer Lingus is a member, today launched attacks on the Irish government and the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) both of whom it claimed were determined to make Ireland a no fly zone. IAA opens new control tower at Cork Airport

The Irish Aviation Authority has brought a new control tower on line at Cork Airport. At one minute past midnight on Tuesday October 20 operations commenced from the new facility which cost €7.5m to complete.
