The UK CAA has published traffic figures for October 2009.With the exceptions of DUB-LHR (Aer Lingus / BMI) DUB-STN (Ryanair) and BFS-LGW (Aer Lingus) the bloodbath of red ink on passenger figures in recent months does appear to have slowed if not stopped altogether on routes between London and Ireland, north and south. Aer Lingus today published its October passenger numbers . A total of 902,000 passengers were carried for the month, a YoY decrease of 0.2%, broken down as follows : Short haul : 821,000 +3.3% YoY Long haul : 81,000 -25.7% YoY Network load factor was 74.6%, which represents a 1.3% YoY increase with capacity falling 10.4% YoY, broken down as : Short haul 77.0... Ryanair passenger figures for October

Ryanair published its passenger figures for October. A total of 6.16m passengers were carried for the month which represents a 15% YoY growth. Load factor remained unchaged at 85%. For the rolling 12 months ended October 31, passenger numbers stood at 64.1m which represents a load factor of 82%. Read More...
