Much sorriness about this further test post in the new format. Am trying to get the text much bolder and easier to read. So here goes; start number one, chocks away, goggles down, max. power, bags of right rudder etc etc.

Please bear with me troops. Am just playing around with the changes to the site and my remaining brain cell is somewhat challenged. Maverick has been helping me get to grips with how to manage thingys. I mean just take a look at the battered and time-worn face in the picture and you will see a mere shell of of a man; indeed a burnt-out husk of the young 21 year old who soloed in the DHC-2 Beaver, in 1962, the actual aircraft you see aerial topdressing in New Zealand. It is ZK-AZB and is still flying in the Manawatu region, NZ. Even more remarkable, the Beaver I mainly flew back then, ZK-BBX is also still operating in the Hawkes Bay region. I selected that photograph because I began my aviation career in the aerial agricultural industry in New Zealand; and still love it today.
Rightyho chaps...that will do for a first posting onto this new format. Let's see if it works....
At ease men....talk amongst yourselves.
