Ryanair says no to Genoa

Bookmark and Share

The new Ryanair base will be only a dream! Ryanair says no to Genoa due to lack of infrastructures or fast link on the territory for passengers when leaving or getting the port of call. Essentially its a problem linked to the city and its chronic lack of infrastructure, rather than the airport. The low cost carrier, in fact, claims to the territory a series of essential guarantees: adequate advertising support to the flights, Park and ride for providing high speed train lines and bus links to the city at low cost fares so as not to force the passenger to use only cabs (which cost more than the flight). All of which, today, Genoa is not able to offer. Thus, the two B737/800s that Ryanair intends to base at Genoa airport such that links sixteen (ten international for France, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Scandinavia, six domestic) will do not added.
