Alitalia with Venice Carnival 2010

Alitalia is going with Venice Carnival edition 2010, planned by the 6th of  February  2010 to the 16th, offering the extraordinary bargain of 40000 tickets at 49€ from Catania, Rome, Palermo, Bari and Naples for flying to Venice by February 2.

The city of Venice is one of the 7 bases of operation in the network of Alitalia together with Rome, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Turin, Naples and Catania.

On May 7, 2009, Alitalia signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the development and promotion of  Veneto and Venice with the regional authorities and Save the Venice airport managing company, in order to promote a greater flow of tourists arriving in town.

Venice is connected thru the Alitalia domestic network with nearly to 100 flights per week towards Rome, Naples, Palermo, Catania, Bari and Brindisi.

Thanks to the code-share agreements with major international carriers, passengers departing from Venice can also reach the main destinations of international and intercontinental Alitalia network, with nearly 100 flights per week to Paris, Amsterdam, Lyon, Nice, Prague, Geneva, Madrid, Moscow and New York.

In December 2009 the punctuality of flights departing from Venice was 85.4%, the
incoming ones by 85.7%, while the regularity of flights has reached the 96.6%.
