Oristano-Pisa, the new route of FlyOristano.com

The commercial brand FlyOristano.com with flights operated by Denim Airways will launch soon by July 5 2010 the new route Oristano-Pisa. Its thrice weekly with 50 seater F50s.

They'll reduce to 2xweek the route Brescia-Rome FCO operated on friday and sunday only in order to fly the summer route Brescia-Rimini.

In the meantime it appears that break even on Oristano-Rome FCO is reached.

 

CityLine Swiss on Italy-France flights

CityLine Swiss is a branch of CityLine Hungary and soon wants to fly from Rome FCO to Marseille-Pau five weekly with a 145 seater MD83s in twin class (8 seats in relax and 137 in economy).

Pricing begins from 49€ one way on Pau-Marseille, 59€ on Marseille-Rome FCO and 79€ on Pau-Rome FCO.

Pau is the gateway to visit Lourdes and a special package is available starting from 222€ that encloses round trip ticket and 2 nights ina 3* hotel in B/B.

ENAC says: FlyOristano have not licence

ENAC announced that it has sent a formal notice to So.Ge.A.Or. - Oristano managing company due to involved in Fly Oristano that "through the site www.flyoristano.com (owned by the same SoGeAOr), advertises, sells and provides news about tickets for scheduled flights between the airports of Oristano and Rome Fiumicino, Brescia, Pisa and Rimini. The decision - the agency says in a note - was taken because the Fly Oristano have not any operator licence for scheduled services. ENAC, in particular, ordered to cease all forms of advertising and selling tickets of Fly Oristano, distrusting the news published on the website as an air carrier. Due to the irregularity of the information on this site relating to the Company itself, the fleet, the connections and the models of a Fokker 50 aircraft livery bearing the logo Fly Oristano, can be misleading for the user. It is only the website page dedicated to bookings of travel, or consultation of ' flight schedule, the information appears, however, essential that the advertised flights are actually operated by Denim Air carrier.

Alpi Eagles publish website

Seven routes from Venice to the most interesting gateways in Southern Italy and islands. Alghero, Olbia, Cagliari, Catania, Lamezia, Reggio Calabria, Naples is the list of destinations present in the map now available on main website home page. www.flyalpieagles.com is the URL address and bookings will be availabloe shortly. All flights rae planned to be scheduled with Fokker 100s.

Ryanair propose Valencia-Trieste

With the base re-opening at Valencia, Ryanair will launch the new route to Trieste, thrice weekly by November 2010. Its one of the new 10 routes announced today by Michael Cawley - Executive CEO of Ryanair.

Elbafly temporary suspends operations with Cessna Caravans

No operations will continue ahead on seasonal flights from Elba to Milan Linate and Rome Urbe planned with leased Professione Volare Cessna Caravan.

Elbafly is looking to a an airline replacement for continuing the planned schedule until September. In the next coming weekend the flights are considered cancelled.

Bulgarian Air Charter buy one more MD82s

Today the last former Alitalia - LAI MD82s that has left Rome FCO inbound to Sofia is I-DATB, now  as LZ-LDE.

Wizz will reduce services to Warsaw

Rumours currently speaks about several routes demise made shortly by the winter timetable 2010/11. Warsaw-Forlì/Treviso could be affected by these decisions. Services to Rome are reduced from daily to 4xweek.

Milan airports asks money to Livingston

Last week a press release was issued by SEA - Secoetà Esercizi Aeroportuali di Milano (Milan airports managing company) in order to inform about the request of payment of debts amassed by Livingston with this company. The board of SEA has informed that until July 5 2010 they'll wait and than they submit the requests to the lessors that owns planes in service with Livingston.

Alitalia limited in ETOPS operations with A330s

It appears that ENAC-Italian Civil Aviation Authority have limited Alitalia to operate with A330s only in the 60 minutes in case of ETOPS operations. The decision was made after the engine fault occured to an A330s after made take off from Boston on June 15 2010. This is reported by several news agencies.

Meridiana fly continue to add A320s

Now its the time of EI-EZT, its a second hand A320/232s msn 1896 and former Bluewings of Germany D-ANNJ shortly on the way to fly in Italy. This is the second jetliner in the past with that disappeared German charter airline. In fact EI-EZS is in progress for delivery and in the past was D-ANNH. Currently EI-EZT is at Chateaurox and EI-EZS at Dublin.

Blue Panorama Airlines will land to Curacao as from July 21 2010 with B767/300ERs in partnership with Italian tour operators. Additional services to Holguin and Dominican Republic are planned.

Bulgarian Air Charter add more former Alitalia MD82s

Continue the change of ownership of several MD82s in the past with Alitalia - Linee Aeree Italiane and part of the fleet that for long time have flown with. Four MD82s recently was transferred to Bulgarian Air Charter. The new registrations are LZ-LDB/I/N/W, respectively former I-DATF, I-DATH, I-DATA, I-DAVV.
