Blue Panorama adds B737/400s

They has added in fleet a former AirOne B737/400s, registered EI-DXC. It has started to fly today, its B737/4Q8s msn 26300 ln2604, in fleet previously with Alitalia CAI, AirOne and Turkish Airlines. This is the secopnd former THY plane in service with Blue Panorama. The twin is EI-CUD.

Armavia adds Venice

Twice weekly as from Apr 2 2011 is the new route Venice-Yerevan with A319s operated on mondays and saturdays.

Alitalia opens Florence-Amsterdam and Florence-Catania

Twice daily the Florence-Amsterdam and daily as well the Florence-Catania is the new offer from Alitalia as from March 27 2011 with A319s aircraft.

Ryanair release new routes from Italy

In these days Ryanair was active to announce new routes in press conferences had in differentn Italian gateways.

They'll open as from summer 2011:

Bergamo to Costanza (th-su)
Bergamo-Lappeenranta (we-sa)
Bergamo-Lourdes (tu-sa)
Cagliari-Cracovia (mo-fr)
Parma-Parigi BVA (mo-fr)
Parma-Cagliari (th-sa-su)
Perugia-Bruxelles Charleroi (mo-fr)
Perugia-Cagliari (tu-fr)
Pescara-Parigi BVA (mo-we-fr)
Pescara-Bruxelles Charleroi (tu-th-sa-su)
Pescara-Trapani (mo-fr)
Torino-Parigi BVA (mo-we-fr-su)

Its planned the restart of Lamezia-London STN on four weekly basis (mo-we-fr-su)

Alitalia receive 3 new A320s

In the past days Alitalia has received from Airbus 3 brand new A320s, in 2011 its planned further 10 new jets (6 A320s and 4 A330s).

The 2011 will see also the first batch of Embraer, probably 6, and futher 14 in 2012.

EasyJet launch new services to Italy

EasyJet expand operations to Italy with new services to new gateways. Bologna is back in the network after several years of disruption. Verona is a new port of call in the network.

Bologna will obtain a daily service to London Gatwick with 156 seater A319s by March 28 2011. Verona will see a similar daily service from June 3 2011. New service from Brindisi to Paris Orly as from July  2 2011 on tuesdays, thursdays, saturdays.

EasyJet will offer 16 gateways in 2011 compared to the current 14.

JAT Airways drops Rome-Portorose

The  new route Rome-Portorose recently announced for linking the Italian capital and the leisure and casino paradise has been cancelled due to lack of demand. The route planned to open by Dec 2 2010, was delayed and than now temporary cancelled. The local authorities was happy to have this flight fro improving the business connceted with casino and wellness. The way to have the flight around the Christmas Holidays was seen like a good promotional way. The lacjk of demand have forced to drop the route and now is at risk in January until March.

Alitalia order 20 new Embraers

The Board of Alitalia has released the leasing of 20 brand new Embraer jets. 72 seater EMB170s and 100 seater emb190s are the type of aircrafts ordered. Alitalia currentluy aligns 6 EMB170s. No way to order the Sukhoi Superjet supported by Finmeccanica company. Alitalia has preferred the commonality with current aircrafts in fleet, more conomical than a new aircraft. The first delivery is planned in 2012.

Ryanair opens Bologna-Liege

Its close the landing of Ryanair at Liege Bierset and Bologna is predicted to be one of the two gateways served. Girona will be the second route planned.

Etihad increase Milan to daily in 2011

The route to Abu Dhabi in departure from Milan Mxp in the hearth of 2011 will be upgraded to daily.

Air Vallee confirms to Germany in 2011

New routes in the network of Air Vallée will link Rimini to Germany. They'll resume by Mach 27 2011 the services from Rimini to Naples and Cagliar.

Confirmed the routes from Rimini to Olbia and Split, enclosed to Kefallinia, Kerkyra and Zakynthos. As from May 29 to Sept 18 new flights to Germany (Munich, Nurnberg, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart). New services to Vienna and Basel. Between July 1 and Aug 15 is available the service to Hannover.

Eagles Airlines to Forlì?

Its reported that shortly an announcement is planned in order to reveal the future new operations from Forlì. The deal is in progress and it is the solution to replace Windjet that will move shortly by summer 2011 the operations to Rimini.

Alitalia will resume services to Beijing

Alitalia with effect June 1 2011 will resume flights to Beijing from Rome FCO, four times a week with triple classes A330/200s. As from Oct 1 2011 the route is upgraded to five per week, no services on tuesdays and fridays.

In the meatime will fly Miami from Rome FCO with B767/300ERs and as from June 4 2011 to Sept 24 2011 the route Rome-Osaka will increase to 5xweek.

Helvetic launch seasonal services on Berne-Brindisi

Brindisi will be linked weekly with Berne every fridays in summer 2011.

Air Vallee resumes flights to Rimini in summer 2011

Four destinations is the network offered by Air Vallee in departure from Rimini arport. Naples, Cagliari, Split and Olbia. Shortly by Dec 15 2010 are relased the schedules.
