Alitalia introduce the new AlitaliaBus
AlitaliaBus is the new ad hoc service exclusively dedicated to the clientele for linking Rome Fiumicino airport with Rome downtown thanks with Alitransport cooperation
Alitalia market share at Rome Leonardo Da Vinci is about 45% and with this new service they can reach downtown or viceversa with only 7€ carefully seat on a 55 or 64 seater Grand Tourism coach. The fleet is pianted with Alitalia paint scheme and its based on 6 buses thta growths in progress to 8.
Tickets can be bought in advance on the airline web site at www.alitalia.it in the section "Travel". After to have paid, traveller will get an e.mail with travel coupon attached. Its mandatory to show the flight coupon or boarding pass (printed thru web check-in, or electronic receipt from your cell phone).
AlitaliaBus not represents a regular service about routing and it can change the way instantly if traffic flows need it.
AlitaliaBus approach Rome Fiumicino at Terminal 1 and they leaves from same position. In Rome downtown the point of arrival and departure will be in advanced released to the travellers and they can include Rome Termini, St. Johns church and St.Peter church.
