Prima removed titles

The titles "Eagles" from Prima - Aero Trasporti Italiani F100s has been removed. Yesterday aircraft I-GIOA was seen with only "Airlines" titles applied.

Alitalia lands on the long haul leisure charter market

Alitalia and Eden Viaggi tour operator signed yeaterday a twice years partnership on long haul leisure flights.The parties will work in the winter time season from December to April starting from the next coming one. The destinations are La Romana and Saint Maarten in the Caribbean. Mombasa and Zanzibar with weekly rotations from Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa.

New strategy

Air One to Prague

AirOne smart xcarrier begins on Sept 19 2011 the daily route to Prague from Milan Malpensa, but from Oct 31 2011 the route is downgrade to 4xweek on mondays, wedensdays, fridays, sundays. These flights are operated with 180 seater A320s.

Air Italy on traffic rights dispute to Cuba

"This was a suffered battle about traffic rights to Cuba, but in the end those who work in a proper way wins and now will speak the competition on the market.Giuseppe Gentile president of Air Italy said that this project is at least two years while an airline team works on.
"The Italian authorities allowed us in February to operate, but Cuba's one does not know how did not give the green light ... however it does not matter, now we start with two flights per week from Milan and Rome."

CSA drops Venice

No services between Prague and Venice are planned along the winter time 2011/12. The route was downgraded last year as summer seasonal and the same decison has been recently made.

SAS confirms Bologna-Stockholm all year round

Shortly by September SAS will resume the route Bologna-Stockholm and it will not stop as planned at end of October. This service is extended all year round, tiwce weekly on thursday and sunday with 150 seater MD81s.

Austrian to Turin and Genoa?

Winter timetable 2011/12 will gift probably new services from Vienna to Genoa/Turin with F70s aircrafts. Slots has been requested.

Iberia to Verona?

Probably Verona will newly served from Madrid with non stop flights. Three flights a day is the slots request applied by Air Nostrum on that route with CRJ900s and with start winter timetable 2011/12.
