Alitalia lifts today Pope Benedict XVI to Madrid
Today Alitalia will carry on Pope Benedict XVI to Madrid for the XXVI Young World Days. The flight AZ4000 is operated with an A320s I-BIKO that has left Rome Ciampino at 9.30 with planned landing at 12.00.
The crew is composed by 2 Cpt's, 1 F/O and 7 crew flight attendants. Flight coordinator is FOPH Cpt Romano Germano. The Cpt. in charge is Giacomo Belloni with 10600 flying hours amassed in the carreer. Of course a selected press journalist follows Pope Benedict XVI and the Vatican State delegation.
