In the airline booking engine was recently removed the way to buy tickets on the route Berlin TXL-Rimini.
With flights disruption announced by Air Seychelles, in the last days talks are in progress between Blue Panorama and several key people at Seychelles for replacing the islands flag carrier by Jan 2012. Remo Della Porta, VP commercial of Blue Panorama went for a commercial mission at Seychelles in order to start talks on this way.
Blue Panorama is interested to open flights from Rome and Milan, an application to the Italian CAA was already sent.
As from Jan 8 2012 the airline offices at Milan and Rome will be close definitively.
As from summer timetable 2012 Blue Air will increase weekly rotations from two to four on the route Bologna-Bacau

Three times a week as from June 26 2012 is the new route Olbia-Madrid on tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays.
New one way service was commenced on Nov 23 2011 until Dec 23 2011 on Bucarest-Bologna (BCS5706) and Bologna-Brussels (BCS7161) with B757/200SF four times a week from tuesdays to fridays.
DHL operates a five times a week service from mondays to fridays to Leipzig with a wet leased Maximus Air Cargo A300/600Fs with day stop at Bologna.

Today Alitalia lifts Pope Benedict XVI to Benin. Flight is planned with an A330/200s named Giotto with route to Cotonou.
Schedule is to leave Rome at 9am and land in Cotonou at 3pm.This flight lifts also the Vatican State delegation and press. The crew is composed by 4 pilots (Cpt manager, Cpt in command, another Cpt and a F/O) and 9 flight attendants. Abroad is also the special flights operative team.
Alitalia has planned the lifts back on Nov 20 2011 again from Cotonou at 4.30pm with landing in Rome at 10pm.
A pair of days ago A319/132s EI-IMS has been delivered brand new from Finkenwerder to Rome FCO and it was the same for second EMB175s EI-RDB.
In the meantime almost four MD82s was grounded, the plan to phase out is started two months ago and the last of 19th MD82s is planned to be out from fleet in the next two years.
