Kosice and Bratislava to Foggia are the new charter flights scheduled on behalf for Slovakian tour operator Satur Travel from June 23 to Sept 8 2012 with ATR72s.
Summer operations to Salerno are confirmed also in 2012.
Two days ago CargoItalia head office has released a press information regarding that all operations are ceased and the airline is volountary demised due to high losses matured from start up.
Medaillon of Romania have leased MD83s YR-HBE now in full Air Valee billboard titles on fuselage and logo on engine nacelles for operatioons from Parma until March 24 2012. This plane is landed on Dec 20 2011 and currently in storage.
The jet is expected to fly on domestic routes daily to Catania and planned to Naples, Palermo and probably Bari.
2 MD83s was back recently to the lessor in US, regs I-SMEC and EI-CKM. A319s I-EEZQ is now in storage at Kemble.

The daily service on Bologna-Cologne is reduced to four weekly as from Jan 5 2012 until March 15 2012. After March 16 2012 will be newly daily.
All 3 B767s recently rented to Saudia are now in service after the Hadj season operations. I-AIGG, I-AIGJ (B767/304s) and the single B767/200s I-AIGI are now in full Air Italy paint scheme. I-AIGH is back also from heavy check conducted at Boeing MROs Shanghai.
As from Feb 1 2012 Iberia/Air Nostrum will cease services to Pisa and Genoa from Madrid. The all year round services to Naples are granted only in August 2012.
Several routes are reduced and a couple are temporary disrupted on Alitalia winter schedule by February 2012 until end of March when begins the new summer timetable.
Bologna-Bari/Palermo, Venice-Palermo, Madrid-Rome FCO (flights AZ58/59) are disrupted by Feb 1 until March 24 2012
Lamezia-Bologna is 5xweek and Catania-Bologna lowered from 12xweek to daily.
Venice-Bari, Turin-Bari, Turin-Lamezia, Turin-Palermo are downgraded to 3xweek
Along the winter ski season 2011/12 is available a heliski service at Corno alle Scale. This is a new opportunity for freeriding skiers and snowboarders to go on immaculate snow tracks with difficult way to reach by ground. The helicopter is based at “Le Malghe” fefuge, very close to the “Il Cupolino” sklift and you can reach the very closest Corno alle Scale peak in proximity to Croce Arcana pass and than to begin the background run on the Tuscany side of the mountain until Cutigliano-Doganaccia ski complex where the helo is ready to lift you back to Le Malghe refuge. Rates start from 70€/person with a minimum of 5 guests. Lower presence of clients and pricing will be more expensive.
New twice weekly flight on mondays and fridays from Pisa to Haugensund as from March 26 2012.
Turin is no longer on RAM network from next Jan 16. The route operated is operated twice a week. Its the fourth station closed by RAM after that in the past services were ceased in Verona, Venice, Catania. RAM continues to serve Bologna, Milan Mxp, Rome FCO.
Milan Malpensa services from Beograd are upgraded from 4xweek to 6xweek and no operations on saturdays. Rome FCO is increased from 5xweek to daily. Both the routes are served with B737/300s.
Bologna and Milan Mxp with twice weekly flights are the only stations in operation over Christmas 2012. The services tio Casablanca are 2xweek and terminates in mid January.
All services are cancelled with summer schedule 2012 and only Rome will continue to be in the network.
Milan Malpensa will have no flights to Amsterdam operated by KLM after March 25 2012. Milan Linate is increased from 2xday to 4xday.
