Several charter chains are scheduled in summer 2012 with 70-72 seater ATR72s.
Cagliari to
Parma (June 26 to Sept 7) weekly
Rome FCO (June 26 to Sept 7) weekly
Rimini (Aug 3 to 31) weekly
Parma to Brindisi (June 3 to Sept 9)
Parma to Lampedusa (as from June 19)
Weekly on saturdays from May to September on Bologna-Edimburgh with EMB190s. This charter chaibn is an incoming service supplied to tour operators.
As from this week the daily service Parma-Rome FCO is operated with a wet leased Budapest Aircraft Service EMB120s HA-FAI.
Volotea the new budget carrier created by Carlos Munoz and Lazaros Ros in the past founder of Vueling are now back and they'll open first base at Venice by April 5 2012 with three 125 seater B717/200s.
These jets in the past with Mexicana Click they'll open 14 destinations, of which 5 in Italy. Brindisi (3), Cagliari (4 to7), Palermo (7), Olbia (4 to 7) and Reggio Calabria (3). Flights are intended per week.
Alicante, Malaga, Bilbao, Bordeaux, Budapest, Oporto, Thessaloniki are both 3xweek. Santiago de Compostela and Krakiow are twice a week. All these services are from April 24 2012 with second B717s and the third ship is scheduled to go from June 2012.
Fares starts from 19€ one way and seats are assigned. No rush and hurries for be seated.
100 new jobs are created at Venice with this new base. Volotea wants to go ahead from today 14 to 24 destinations from Venice and 500000 passengers carried in 2012, 1 million in 2013.
The intention is to be the carrier #1 at Venice.

Alitalia thanks to a aprtnership siogned with CIS-Lottomatica allows to pay cash air ticket booked in internet or via call center to customer that avoid to pay with credit cards. Tobacconist with Lottomatica service are 30000 in the country.
Mongolian private carrier Chinggis Airways is interested to wet lease an A330/200s for long haul services to Europe and US. Meridiana fly has signed a MoU with them in order to supply a widebody twinjet from June.
Twice weekly Alitalia is back to Benghazi, second gateways in Lybia twice weekly. The demand needs to have these nono stop link.
Trapani and Thosod from Rome as seasonal are operated on fridays and sundays.
In summer season 2012 four charter chains are operated by Iberia A320s from Milan Mxp to Palma/Ibiza, Bergamo ti Mahon and Pisa to Ibiza. Spanair disappear left several charter chains already booked without carrier operator.
Talks are in progress for flying to Chisinau in departure from Rome FCO.
56 weekly flights is the new capability on Milan and Rome to Moscow. A new Italian and Russian carrier can be designate on those routes. The slot availability is increased by 60%.
Tice weekly as from June 28 2012 in competition with Volotea is the new route Venice-Bilbao with A320s on mondays and thursdays.
As from April 5 2012 Volotea will open the new base and operations from Venice with three 125 seater Boeing B717s. Soon on February 23rd the press conference will release the new network available from Venice.
Bologna and Rome Ciampino to Saragozza services are predicted to be disrupted as from March 25 2012 due to disputes with Spanish local authorities.
