Air Mauritius quits Milan Malpensa

As from June are cancelled all weekly flights to Mauritius in departure from Milan Malpensa.

Meridiana fly/Air Italy summer schedule highlights

The coming summer timetable 2012 for Meridiana fly/Air Italy unveils new services.

As from June Hamburg is linked to Olbia with a twice weekly seasonal flight.

London Gatwick service is resumed after some years of disruptions. Olbia will have twice weekly service non stop from June 2012 on tuesdays and saturdays.

Paris CDG is another seasonal service resumed from Olbia from June.

Sardinia will see two gateways linked with Moscow Domodedovo. Olbia service i confirmed and the new route is a weekly to Cagliari.

Resumed the services to Catania from Verona and Turin and Catania is linked with Milan Linate, Naples and Olbia.

Seasonal services to Sardinia encloses Bari, Catania, and Genoa to Olbia - Costa Smeralda and Milan Malpensa, Bergamo and Venice to  Cagliari-Elmas.

On long haul Meridiana fly-Air Italy, as from June 2012 resumes services from New York JFK to Naples  and Palermo with two weekly services on tuesdays and thursdays from Palermo. Mondays and wednesdays from Naples. Fares as from € 559.00 round trip with taxes enclosed..

On long haul flights thanks to the integrations happened between the two carriers was widenest  the offer with flights to Cuba, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Madagascar, Mauritius, Maldives and the new Pemba, new destination in Mozambico.

The Africa (Kenya, Tanzania) with 8 weekly flights from Milano, Roma and Verona.

They'll resume charter flights with several flights to Japan in departure from Rome and Milan.

In the medium/short-haul continue to be important the presence to Egypt (Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada) from several gateways of Italy and  to Balearic Islands, Greece and to Canary islands. 

Gulf Air quits Milan Malpensa

As from March 12 2012 Gulf Air will quit Milan Malpensa and will continue to serve Rome Fiumicino.

AirOne on Milan Mxp-Mykonos

New four a week seasonal sunspot service from Milan Mxp to Mykons from July 14 2012 to Sept 8 2012 on mo/tu/th/sa with 180 seater A320s.

Aegean launch seasonal island hopper flights to Italy

Six new seasonla sunspost summer routes are launched by Aegean from Rome and Milan to Kerkyra, Mykonos and Thrira

Kerkyra from Milan is weekly on wednesdays with A320s and from July 18 to Sept 5 2012

Mykonos-Milan Mxp is seasonal on sundays from June 30 to Sept 1 2012 with A320s.

Thira-Milan Mxp is seasonal on wednesdays from July 11 2012 to Sept 5 2012 with A320s

Kerkyra-Rome FCO is seasonal on tuesdays from July 17 2012 to Sept 4 2012 with A320s.

Mykonos-Rome FCO is seasonal on tuesdays from July 10 2012 to Sept 4 2012 with A320s

Thira to Milan Mxp is weekly on wedensdays from July 11 2012 to Sept 5 2012 with A320s.


Alitalia introduces EMB190s to London City

As planned on summer timetable 2012 Alitalia will replace CitiJet Avroliners with Embraer 190s recently delivered on twice daily services to the London downton airport, date of start up March 25 2012.

TACV wants to resume flights to Rome

144 seater B737/800s of which 12 are in business class are the new workhorses that TACV would use on services between Rome FCO and Ilha do Sal along next summer season 2012. Not yet scheduled the date of start up of these services.

Emirates will fly 3xday Milan Malpensa

Dubai services are increased from twice to thrice a day to Milan Malpensa. The third daily flight as from June 1 2012 is with A330/200s. on Alghero-Milan Malpensa

Seasonal from June 23 2012 until Sept 1st 2012 the route Milan Mxp-Alghero on mo/tu/th/sa.

Smart Wings tro Cagliari and Alghero

Seasonal on thursdays by May 24 2012 the route Prague-Alghero-Cagliari-Prague until Oct 4 2012 with B737/800s

Ryanair open services to Warsaw Modlin

Bergamo and Rome Ciampino are the two Italian destinatiions linked to the new Warsaw gateway of Modlin as from mid July 2012

Turkish expands Bologna step by step in summer 2012

Route Bologna-Istanbul is increased as planned to 14xweek in summer 2012 timeschedule. It will be step by step wiuth new second daily frequencies on sundays, mondays, thursdays by March 25 2012. Two more additional frequencies on fridays and saturdays by June 1 2012 and the second daily on tuesdays and wednesdays as from June 26 2012.

Ryanair increase services to Budapest from Italy

Bergamo, Rome Ciampino, Pisa, Trapani and Treviso are the gateway served by the new base launched at Budapest after MALEV demise- Flights are available shortly as from March 2012.

Alitalia expands Beirut services

Alitalia will increase from 8 to 10 weekly from June 12 2012 to Sept 18 2012 on Rome-Beirut.

Alitalia fly to Rhodes in August

Twice weekly on saturday and sundays is the seasonal sunspot route operated in August 2012 only from Rome FCO rto Rhodes.
