Alitalia adds 9th brand new A330s
Today the 9th A330s recently delivered some days ago brand new from Airbus is in service on long haul network routes.
Tiziano is the name assigned to the liner and its part of the plan launched with new chapter of Alitalia for renewing fleet and face lifting most part of existing jets in service.
All B777/243s are now on the new triple class layout wih business class Magnifica, premium class and economy class. Works on them are terminated at end of June.
20 more new jets are planned to join the fleet before end of 2012 and 59 are the new jets added since January 2009.
Alitlia expects to phase out the remaining MD82s and B767s in a few months.
