Windjet owner want to resume the airline
On last friday afternoon in a meeting with Ministry of Transports, Windjet owner Nino Pulvirenti released the inention to resume flights with a newco by Dec 5 2012 when Catania is back in operations after runway rework terminates.
Four jets,undisclosed is the type and further four by 2013 is the fleet planned to use on the new operations.
The ownership is shared between Pulvirenti with 60%, the rest uin the hands of a bigger food hypermarket brand and a small participation in the hands of the Sicily region development company.
