Alitalia flies a full women crew plane on March 8 2013
ALITALIA CELEBRATES THE WOMEN'S DAY WITH TWO FLIGHTS ROME-MILAN-ROME AND MILAN WITH ONLY FEMALE CREW.
ALITALIA CREWS SUPPORT PINK PHONE TO RAISE AWARENESS ATTENTION ON THE THEME OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN.
CUSTOMERS TO WOMEN OF TWO FLIGHTS HAVE BEEN OFFERED BRANCHES OF MIMOSA.
On March 8 2013 flights Rome - Milan (AZ 2028, left Rome Fiumicino at 09.00) and Milan - Rome (AZ 2045, left Milan Linate 11.00) today on March 8 were operated with only female crew : Cpt. Barbara Plantulli Lambert, the Co-pilot Valentina Leone and three flight attendants Giovanna Ruiu, Francesca Anzil and Matilda Marcelli.
With this particular initiative Airlines is celebrating the 2013 edition of the International Women's Day.
To share the celebration with the passengers of the two flights, all female passengers sull'AZ sull'AZ 2028 and 2045 were gifted with a branch of mimosa.
In addition, to raise attention to the issue of violence against women, the crew of the two Alitalia flights wore the badge on their uniform symbol Pink Phone 25 years engaged in the fight against violence against women and that, from this 'years, manages the national number 1522 anti violence.
Today's initiative is part of the path of social responsibility of Alitalia.
