Air Canada meets the Italian trade sellers
Air Canada is calling upon the Italian trade on the eve of the high summer season.
"85 percent of our passengers are boarding our aircraft due to agents and tour operators - said the Italy's director Umberto Solimeno -. Naturally, we strive to deepen our ties and create opportunities to learn more about our company and our destinations from Canada. "
To raise awareness and foster the trade will be made a tour in collaboration with the tourism authorities of Quebec and Toronto, which will reach the city of Milan, Rome and Naples. In addition, Air Canada has launched a series of scheduled visits with key agencies, both individually and together with Star Alliance partners. "The meetings allow us not only to illustrate our proposals - adds Solimeno - but also to listen and learn from what agents can do better for them."
Air Canada serves seasonal Rome and as from July 4 2013 the new thrice weekly to Venice from Toronto operated by the new leisure arm subsidiary.
