Pegasus go aheads with expansion to Bologna

The route Istanbul SAW-Bologna commenced by Aug 2nd 2012 is continuously in upgrade due to increased traffic demand. In summer 2014 they'll offer a daily flight with an additional weekly on mondays between end of July and September 2014.Launched with three flight a week confirmed in the last winter schedule. Upgraded to four a week with summer 2013 and to six a week in the summer 2013 peak season. In winter time 2013/4 are five a week, one more weekly flight compared with summer and two with winter time 2012/3. 189 seater B737/800s is on the route at all times.

Meridiana will continue leasing partnership with Turkish

The deal is extended for one year more, the A330s in leasing from spring 2012 to Turkish is predicted to continue after that contract uis expired at end of September 2013. Usually schedukled to Dacca the A330/200s EI-EZL which wears only basically the old Eurofly paint scheme on fuselage will continue to be in service on Turkish Airlines network..

SkyBridge AirOps on Parma-Naples

Three times a week is the new route from Parma to Naples planned by Oct 28th 2013 on mondays / wedbnesdays/ fridays with 30 seater EMB120s Brasilia.

Alitalia launch Venice-Tokyo Narita

Twice a week from April 2nd is the new route Tokyo Narita - Venice operated with triple class B777/243ERs. Scheduled on wednesdays and fridays on westbound and thursdays and saturdays eastbound. The new route will meet the traffic demand of flights to the magnificient town sat in the lagoon. 

El Al opens Venice

Weekly as from Nov 5th 2013 is the new flight  from Tel Aviv to Venice. Every week on tuesdays with B737/800s twin class is the schedule until summer 2014 when flights will becomes twice weekly and later increased to three times a week. Venice is the new 3rd gateways served in Italy with regular flights.
