I've visited LSMP for the 1st time this year on monday the 22nd of February. Here some impressions - Payerne with sun and nearly T-shirt-temperatures 
Switzerland - in the middle of european NATO-countries - has not a permanent QRA. Only during events like WEF, G8-summit or the summit of francophone states this autumn the Swiss Air Force use this type of intervention troops. For that it was a nice surprise for me to see Hornet J-5235 during an 'Scramble-Mission' with live ammunition.

The Swiss Air Force/Army had announced the WEF a success - up to 4000 soldiers where on duty with temperatures down 'till -20°C. The Air Force had only two 'Hot Missions' in the restricted area (27th and 29th January) and no casualties.
