Bulgarian Air Charter MD82 LZ-LDB (53224) has become EK82224 for Ararat International & was delivered from Sofia to Yerevan on 29/10.
China A/L A333 B-18355 (1177) was noted at Toulouse on 24/10 in full scheme as F-WWYI.
Delta A/L has reconfirmed its order for 18 B788s, originally placed by Northwest A/L, but has deferred delivery to between 2020 & 2022. These were originally due to join the fleet between 2008 & 2010 & the delay has necessitated the refurbishment of the carrier's 14 B744s, which will fill the gap until the B788s are delivered.
Egypt Air B738 SU-GDY (40758) left Boeing Field, WA on delivery to Cairo on 23/10.
Ethiopian A/L B738 ET-ANZ (37933) left Boeing Field, WA on delivery to Addis Ababa on 22/10. ET-AOA (37936) made its first flight on 25/10 & ET-AOB (37937) had appeared on the Renton flightline by 27/10. B772LR ET-ANN (40770) made its first flight on 27/10.
Exin Air added three former Polish A/F An-26s to its fleet back in August - SP-EKD (1402 ex PAF 1402), SP-EKE (1509 ex PAF 1509) & SP-EKF (1604 ex PAF 1604).
Global Supply Systems. The three B748Fs due to be leased from Atlas Air will be G-GSSD to GSSF (37562 to 37564). The first two are scheduled for delivery next year, with the third following in 2012. It is thought that they will be operated in British A/W scheme.
Hainan A/L A333 B-6520 (1168) made its first flight on 26/10 in full scheme as F-WWYJ.
Hawaiian A/L A332 N382HA (1171) made its first flight on 25/10 in full scheme as F-WWYA.
Hello. With the first of a total of five A320s due imminently, the carrier with start phasing out its three remaining MD90s next month, with a "farewell flight" scheduled for 30/1 next year.
Highland A/W. Some information has been received regarding Jetstreams that have been stored at Inverness since the carrier's demise. The administrators have been instructed to clear the airfield before 12/11 & the following is known at present:

Kalitta Air. Former Northwest Cargo B742F N619US (21321) was delivered from storage at Marana, AZ to Oscoda, MS on 23/10.
LOT E175 SP-LIO (17000321) is due to arrive at Warsaw on delivery on 30/10.
Lufthansa A388 D-AIMF (066) was ferried from Toulouse to Finkenwerder as F-WWSN on 22/10.
Lufthansa Cargo MD11F D-ALCP (48414) was ferried from storage at Victorville, CA to Hong Kong on 19/10 & re-entered service the following day.
Lufthansa Cityline CRJ2 D-ACJH (7266) was ferried from Cologne to Amsterdam on 23/10 for painting into UT Air scheme. Also see under UT Air.
Neos B763 EI-DMJ (27958) was ferried from LHR to Constantine via Copenhagen on 28/10 on lease to Air Algerie.

A7-MED A319CJ (4114) of the Qatar Amiri Flight was redelivered from Basel to Doha via LHR on 29/10 following cabin outfitting.
F-ZWUG A332 (240 ex HB-IQB, F-OPTP, F-GRTP) for the Armee de l'Air/CEV was noted at Bordeaux on 20/10. It was then ferried to Paris/Orly on 24/10, entering service the same day.

Saudi Arabian A333 HZ-AQG (1192) was noted at Toulouse on 22/10 in primer but with blue tail as F-WWKO. HZ-AQF (1153) & A320 HZ-AS41 (4454) were delivered from Toulouse to Jeddah on 25/10. HZ-AS22 (4484) made its first flight on 26/10 in full scheme as F-WWDN & was ferried from Toulouse to Finkenwerder the same day.

Thomson A/W B738 G-FDZE (35137) was cancelled from the UK register on 26/10 & reregistered C-GDZE for Sunwing A/L. It left Luton on 27/10 carrying Sunwing titles & Thomson scheme en route to Toronto for winter lease. It now appears that the information regarding the roll out of B738 G-FDZT (35151) at Renton on 15/10 was incorrect. I suspect that there was some confusion on the other side of the pond with Jetairfly example OO-JAX (37238).
THY B773 TC-JJF (40708) arrived at Istanbul on delivery on 27/10.
TNT is to replace its fleet of 10 B733Fs with 11 B734Fs. The aircraft are to be leased from GECAS & converted to freighters by IAI, with the final delivery scheduled for 1Q2012. B733F OO-TNI (23512) was ferried from Liege to Palma on 27/10 in full Swiftair scheme.
Transavia B738 PH-HSW (37160) has been registered 9Y-TJR for winter lease to Caribbean A/L & left Amsterdam on delivery on 27/10.
TUIfly B738 D-AHFT (30413) was ferried from Hanover to Gothenburg on 26/10 on lease to TUIfly Nordic.
Ukraine International B734 UR-GAR (26081) was noted at Southend on 23/10 in full Nok Air scheme & is to become HS-DDO (see Skyliner for photo).

This week sees a further & final expansion of my coverage with the inclusion of two paragraphs listing deliveries of new single-aisle aircraft from Airbus & Boeing to customers outside the normal scope of this blog. The dates quoted are those that the aircraft left the manufacturer's airfield.

Aer Lingus A320s EI-CVA (1242), EI-CVB (1394), EI-CVC (1443) & EI-CVD (1467) will all be withdrawn over the winter & are due to enter service with Amsterdam A/L by next summer. Five new aircraft are due for delivery early next year. The first of these will be EI-EVK (4572) in January followed by one in March (4634), one in April (4678) & two in May (4714 & 4715).
Aeroflot A321 VQ-BHK (4461) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Moscow/Sheremetyevo on 22/10. A320 VQ-BHL (4453) was delivered from Toulouse to Moscow/Sheremetyevo on 20/10.

Arkefly B763 PH-AHY (24848) was ferried from Amsterdam to Dublin on 18/10 for painting all white prior to return to the lessor.
Astraeus A320 G-STRP (0136) was ferried from Prague to Helsinki on 15/10 following summer lease. It then operated a one-day charter for Bulgaria Air before positioning from Helsinki to Southend on 16/10.
BA Cityflyer has converted two of its three options for E190s into firm orders, with delivery due in 2Q11. B462 G-LCYB (2383) was ferried from Kemble to Warton on 14/10 & then from there to Manston on 18/10 for onward storage.
Bahrain Air A320 A9C-BAZ (0645) is not to go to Jeddah for Hajj operations after all & remains at Bahrain.

Corsair is seeking union approval for a restructuring plan. It intends to remove one of its six B744s from the fleet next summer with a further two to be withdrawn later & replaced by two more A330s.

EasyJet A321 G-TTIF (3106) was noted at Shannon on 19/10 as 4R-MRC in full Mihin Lanka scheme awaiting delivery.
Edelweiss Air A333 HB-IQI (291) entered service in full scheme on 19/10 on lease from Swiss International. A332 HB-IQZ (369) flew its last revenue service on 17/10 & is destined for Air Transat.
Ethiopian A/L B738 ET-AOA (39736) was rolled out at Renton, WA on 19/10 & noted on the flightline on 21/10.
Euro Atlantic A/W B763 CS-TFS (25411) was ferried from Lisbon to Maiduguri on 16/10 for Hajj duties with Med-View A/L. CS-TFT (26208) left Lisbon the same day routing to Ilorin also for Hajj operations with Med-View A/L.
Fedex B777F N883FD (39285) was delivered to Memphis, TN on 15/10.
Flybe. Although DH8D G-ECOY (4022) was restored to the register on 14/10, the owners are now shown as Bombardier Services (UK) Ltd, who have also been the owners of G-ECOW (4021) since 23/9. Both will be ferried to Canada at some point in the future where they will be reregistered.
Golden Air AT72 SE-MDI (930) was delivered from Toulouse to Angelholm all white on 22/10.
Hainan A/L A332 B-6519 (1159) left Toulouse on 15/10 on delivery to Haikou.

Kalitta Air. Former Northwest Cargo B742F N630US (21668) was delivered from storage at Marana, AZ to Oscoda, MS on 16/10.
KLM A332 PH-AOM (1161) was delivered from Toulouse to Amsterdam on 22/10. B733 PH-BTH (28719) is to remain on lease to Kenya A/W as 5Y-KYM. It returned to Amsterdam on 30/9 in a hybrid scheme & is to be repainted into full Kenya A/W colours prior to return to Nairobi.
Libyan A/L A320 5A-LAI (4450) was delivered from Toulouse to Sert on 21/10.

Saga A/L. Correcting an error from last month, the identities of the two B738s taken over from the defunct Cyprus Turkish A/L are TC-SGK (29246 ex TC-MSO) & TC-SGL (29247 ex TC-MZZ).
Saudi Arabian A321 HZ-ASH (4467) was, as expected, delivered from Finkenwerder to Jeddah on 16/10.
SmartLynx A320 YL-LCB (0384) re-entered service on 19/10 following its spell with Israir as 4X-ABD.
Solitaire Air is a new Jordanian carrier who took delivery of former Alaska A/L B734 N776AS (25109) at Amman on 17/10 (see Skyliner for photo).

Viking A/L has temporarily suspended operations while it restructures. The carrier's remaining services are being flown by Viking Hellas. In addition to using Viking Hellas aircraft, Viking A/L has also been using the Small Planet A/L Polska B733 SP-HAA (24664). Rather than operate the flights as sub-charters & use VIK flight numbers, this carrier has been paid outright & so has been using Small Planet/LLP flight numbers. Likewise, Strategic A/L A320 LX-STA (0446) has also operated for Viking A/L using its own STU callsign.
West Atlantic is set to become AerCap's first customer for the A320P2F freighter. The carrier is to take three aircraft between 2012 & the middle of 2013, with options for a further four aircraft by 2015.

EasyJet. In an incident eerily reminiscent of that involving A321 G-TTID (2462), A320 G-TTOI (2137) had its forward R1 door punctured by an ambilift while on the ground at Kos on 6/10. Rather spookily, it had been due to be retired the following day. G-EZTL (4012) was flown down from Liverpool to rescue the passengers & crew, arriving at Gatwick 15 hours late. G-TTOI was patched up & flown to Shannon the following day at 10,000 feet as EZY8005. The damage is less severe than that to G-TTID & only requires a new door & I am informed that the latter is still considered a write-off at present.
Egypt Air B738 SU-GDX (40757) arrived at Cairo on delivery on 2/10. SU-GDY (40758) had appeared on the Renton, WA flightline by 10/10 & made its first flight on 14/10. B773 SU-GDN (38288) arrived at Cairo on delivery on 14/10.
Ethiopian A/L B738 ET-ANZ (37933) made its first flight on 12/10. DH8D ET-ANX (4330) arrived at Addis Ababa on delivery on 10/10.
Eurowings CRJ7 D-ACSB (10028) was ferried from Exeter to Nuremberg all white on 7/10 on return to the lessor. B462 D-AEWQ (E3203) was ferried from Exeter to Bucharest via Nuremberg on 14/10. This was the carrier's last 146 movement. CRJ2 D-ACRN (7486) was transferred to FAI Rent-a-Jet on 7/10 & will be based to Nuremberg.
FedEx MD10F N365FE (46601) was ferried from storage at Victorville, CA to Mobile, AL on 13/10.
Finnair A333 OH-LTU (1173) was noted all white as F-WWKN at Toulouse on 8/10.
Flybe DH8D G-ECOY (4022) was cancelled by the CAA on 11/10 only to be restored on 14/10. It is understood that this aircraft plus G-ECOW (4021) have been handed back to Bombardier with both currently in short-term storage at Exeter. G-FLBD (4259) & G-FLBE (4261) are due to be returned to Flybe on 31/10 following lease to Olympic Air. The four CRJ2s formerly used by Flybe are returning home from JetLite India. VT-SAQ (7345 ex G-JECA) & VT-SAR (7393 ex G-JECB) arrived at Exeter on 7/10, with VT-SAS (7434 ex G-JECC) joining them on 9/10. The fourth aircraft, VT-SAU (7469 ex G-JECD), is expected before the end of the month, with at least three of them to be broken up & the fourth possibly going to a Russian customer.
FlyDubai B738 A6-FDK (40238) made its first flight on 7/10.
Gulf Air E190 A9C-MC (19000372) arrived at Bahrain on delivery on 9/10, with A9C-MD (19000373) following two days later. Also see under Petra A/L.
Iberworld A333s EC-JHP (670) & EC-KCP (833) were ferried from Madrid to Blang Bintang (Indonesia) on 7/10 on lease to Garuda for the Hajj. A320 EC-IMU (1130) has become VQ-BDR for Rossiya & was noted in full scheme at Madrid on 12/10 awaiting delivery.
Israir returned A320 4X-ABD (0384) to SmartLynx on 13/10 when it was ferried from Tel Aviv to Vilnius. Presumably, it will revert to its old marks of YL-LCB.

BA Cityflyer. With its fifth & final E190 due for delivery in November, BA is contemplating exercising its option for a further three examples due to high demand on its routes out of London City Airport.
Bluebird A/W will soon add a B734 to its single leased MD80. The aircraft in question is N744VA (24704 ex 9M-MJB, N405KW, SX-BKI), which made an acceptance flight from/to Miami, FL on 23/9 (see Skyliner for photo).
Blue1 MD90 OH-BLU (53458) was noted at Stockholm/Arlanda in basic scheme on 24/9 on return to SAS prior to lease (probably to Delta).
BMI A321 G-MIDL (1174) was cancelled from the UK register on 24/9 & registered to WFBN the same day as N174AG. It had recently been stored all white at East Midlands. It was then ferried to Mitiga on 29/9.
British A/W will reportedly return to service two of its B744s stored at Victorville, CA. B752 G-BPEE (25060) was noted outside the BA hangar at Gatwick on 1/10 carrying N949FD for FedEx, though this has not yet been officially registered. Also see under Astraeus.

Hello. Having disposed of three of its six MD90s earlier this year, the carrier is preparing to re-equip with A320s. This is due to be followed by RP-C3230 (1171 ex N115US) in December & RP-C3231 (1210 ex N116US) in January.
IceJet D328 TF-NPA (3220) was redelivered for Oberpfaffenhofen to Reykjavik to day prior to restart of operations.

Nordwind A/L will soon take delivery of former Kenya A/W B763 VQ-BRA (27310 ex OO-SBY, VN-A768, N310AN, EC-IQA, 5Y-KQQ, N310AN). It left Kuala Lumpur on 24/9 bound for Miami, FL via Anchorage, AK.

Norwegian Air Shuttle B738 LN-DYI (40866) appeared on the Renton flightline on 24/9 & made its first flight on 30/9. Further to my mention last Tuesday that the carrier is intending to start long-haul services next year, Bloomberg has published some further details. It seems that NAX is currently looking at placing an order next month for either the A350 or the B787. With neither available for delivery to the carrier next year, it is expected that it will acquire a pair of A330s or B767s in the interim for next year's launch, with a further two to enter service the following year. Norwegian is also working towards a code-share with Finnair whereby it can feed passengers into Finnair's Asian routes out of Helsinki.
Phuket Air. Former United B744 N192UA (26881), which was delivered to Don Muang last week, was cancelled from the US register on 23/9 & has become HS-AKS.
Qatar A/W A320 A7-AHD (4436) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Doha on 28/9.
Royal Brunei B763 V8-RBJ (25533) was ferried from Brunei to Paya Lebar on 27/9 on return to the lessor. The carrier's sixth former Singapore A/L, B772 V8-BLF (30869 ex 9V-SVD), entered service on 27/9.

Ryanair B738s EI-ENA (34983) & EI-ENB (40289) arrived at Dublin on delivery on 29/9, with EI-EGD (34981) & EI-ENC (34980) following on 1/10. Note the use of EI-EGD instead of EI-END, with the latter not used apparently at the request of Ryanair.
Saga A/L B738 TC-SGH (28068) was ferried from Algiers to Dalaman on 26/9 following lease to Air Algerie.

Southern Air B742F N758SA (23138) operating MAS6145 to Tashkent suffered substantial damage on 24/9 when number 3 engine suffered an uncontained failure on take-off at Frankfurt.
Spanair MD82 EC-HOV (49416) was ferried from Palma to Keflavik on 30/9 on return to the lessor. It continued from there to Bangor, ME & then Kingman, AZ.
Swiss International A332 HB-IQI (291) was noted at Zurich on 28/9 with Edelweiss Air titles & tail logo prior to winter lease from 19/10.
THY A332F TC-JDO (1004) & A333 TC-JNH (1150) were delivered from Toulouse to Istanbul on 29/9. A333 TC-JNI (1170) made its first flight on 27/9 in full scheme as F-WWKH.

Windjet A319 EI-EDM (2424) touched down hard just before the threshold at Palermo on 24/9 during a thunderstorm, before veering off the runway. Both main undercarriage struts collapsed.
