Air Transat has leased three A332s to Garuda for the Hajj. All wear Garuda tail markings & titles. C-GPTS (480) left Montreal on 27/9 bound for Ujung Pandang Hasanuddin via Sharjah, with C-GITS (271) & C-GTSN (369) following on the same route two days later.
Alitalia E190 EI-RNA (19000470) arrived at Rome/Fiumicino on 26/9 on delivery.
All Nippon. Boeing has finally delivered its first B788 (40 months late). JA801A (34488) arrived at Tokyo/Haneda on 28/9. JA802A (34497) made its first flight on 24/9.
Atlas Air B763 N641GT (25132 ex HL7268, N132KR, EI-CPV, HL7268, CC-CIO, PR-VAF) was noted in full scheme at Miami, FL on 24/9 awaiting delivery. The carrier has joined Cargolux in refusing to take delivery of its first B748Fs due to performance concerns. It is now reported that these surround a 2.7% fuel burn shortfall from the GE engines.
AtlasJet A321 TC-ATE (0675) was delivered from Montpellier to Istanbul on 26/9. A332 TC-ETL (364) positioned from Istanbul to Jeddah on 26/9 for Hajj duties with Saudi Arabian.
Avianca placed an order this week for four A332Fs to be operated by its cargo subsidiary TAMPA.

FedEx B777F N885FD (41064) made its first flight on 26/9.
Flybe DH8D G-JEDI (4052) flew its last revenue service on 19/9 & was ferried to Norwich where it was painted white before ferrying to Exeter for checks prior to return to the lessor. G-FLBJ (4370) was ferried back from Dublin Exeter on 25/9 after painting into South African Express scheme & had the registration ZS-YBY applied the following day.

JAL A306 JA8563 (683) was registered to GA Telesis as N2683 on 9/9 & left Tokyo/Haneda on 30/9 for freighter conversion, after which it will become D-AEAM with European Air Transport.
Jetstar A/W A332 VH-JBR (1251) left Toulouse on 28/9 on delivery to Sydney.
Jet2 B752 G-LSAK (27973) operated a service from Vienna to Ras-Al-Kaimah on 30/9 on behalf of RAK A/W & will stay on lease to them until next May. B733 G-GDFA (24011) will be withdrawn from service in the near future, then bought by Jet2 & will reportedly be broken up at Leeds/Bradford. G-GDFB (25743) is to be withdrawn from service during October.
KLM B737 PH-BGU (39257) arrived at Amsterdam on delivery on 29/9 & PH-BGW (38128) made its first flight on 25/9.
LAN A/L B763 CC-BDA (40798) was ferried from Paine Field to Atlanta, GA on 27/9 for winglet installation prior to delivery.
Lufthansa. The carrier's board has approved the acquisition of two more A388s, one A333, four A320s & five E195s.
Lufthansa Cityline B462 D-AVRI (E2270) was ferried from Stansted to Southend on 30/9 on return to the lessor.
Mint A/W B752 EC-LBC (26276) was ferried from Newcastle to Madrid on 23/9 following summer lease to Thomas Cook. It is to under a cabin reconfiguration prior to Hajj lease. It was replaced the same day by EC-LHL (24544), which will operate for Thomas Cook until the end of October.
Monarch A332 G-EOMA (265) left Manchester on 29/9 bound for Palembang on Hajj lease to Garuda. It sports Garuda tail markings & titles (see

Nordwind A/L will take former THY A321 M-ABED (1219 ex G-VATH, EC-IMA, TC-JME). This had been due to go to Air Berlin as D-ABCI & it was noted in full Nordwind scheme at Norwich on 29/9 (see Skyliner for photo).
Norwegian Air Shuttle B738 LN-DYV (39009) arrived at Bergen on delivery on 30/9.
Nouvelair A320 TS-INO (3480) was ferried from Tunis to Khartoum on 30/9 for Hajj duties.
Orbest A332s CS-TRH (833) & EC-LEQ (1097) have been leased to Garuda for the Hajj. The former left Lisbon on 27/9 bound for Solo City, following the latter, which had departed the day before.
Palestinian A/L F50 SU-YAI (20143) was ferried back from Maastricht to Cairo on 29/9 after overhaul, so was not at end of lease (corrects last week).

The former was noted in full scheme at Dublin on 26/9, while the latter was ferried from Moscow/Domodedovo to Shannon on 28/9. EI-DPM (0775) will become VQ-BOF with the carrier & was noted in full scheme at Shannon on 29/9 awaiting delivery.
UT Air CRJ2 VQ-BGR (7220) was ferried from Cologne to Eindhoven on 25/9 for painting for UN operations. The carrier finalised an order for 33 B738s & 7 B739s this week.
Vueling A320 EC-LOB (4949) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Barcelona on 29/9.
WhiteJets A313 PR-WTA (494) was ferried from Campinas to Lisbon on 29/9 & may be about to revert to CS-TEJ.

Afriqiyah A319 5A-ONC (3615) was ferried from storage at Mitiga to Tunis on 21/9, returning to Mitiga the following day. A320 5A-ONK (4330) was reportedly badly damaged (beyond repair?) at Tripoli during the recent unrest.
Air Atlanta is expected to add B744 TF-AMZ (24423 ex JA8071, N344AS) to its fleet in the near future. It is currently at Marana, AZ. TF-AMY (25260) left Marana, AZ on 18/9 routing via Phoenix, AZ to Ostend, where it arrived on 19/9. It carries Biman titles & tail logo (see Skyliner for photo).
Air Baltic has filed for legal protection as it continues a row with the Latvian government over a capital injection.
Air Berlin A319 D-ABGL (3586) had been painted in full Air Namibia scheme at Dublin & was carrying V5-ANK by 16/9. It was then ferried back to Paderborn on 19/9 as D-ABGL prior to delivery. B738 D-ABBA (30570) was ferried from Berlin/Tegel to Shannon on 19/9 for painting, presumably for a new operator. D-ABKL (37754) was ferried from Munich to Shannon on 20/9 for painting for Air Pacific. D-ABKY (36886) arrived at Berlin/Tegel on delivery on 22/9. FlightGlobal reports that the airline is to cut its fleet by eighteen aircraft by next summer. This is quite an increase on the eight that it announced last month & will see a reduction in the group's fleet from 170 to 152 aircraft by next summer.

Cargolux was due to take delivery of its first two B748Fs on 19/9 & 21/9, but informed Boeing that it would not accept them due to "unresolved issues". These issues seem to surround compensation to Qatar A/W for late delivery of B787s rather than any performance problems with the B748F. Qatar A/W has a 35% shareholding in Cargolux.
Cathay Pacific Cargo expects to take delivery of its first B748F, of ten ordered, next month.
Continental A/L B762 N67157 (30436) was ferried from Houston to Montreal on 17/9, probably for a new operator.
Corsair B744 F-HSEX (26878) flew its last revenue service on 8/9 & was ferried in basic scheme from Mauritius to Paris/Orly on 16/9 prior to sale.

The carrier has appointed JP Morgan to look into the potential sale of BMI, the second largest carrier at LHR in terms of slots (around 8.4%).

Transmile Air Services MD11F 9M-TGR (48485), which was registered N642FE back in March, left Paya Lebar on 16/9 on delivery to FedEx at Memphis, TN.
UT Air B738 VQ-BJJ (29936) was delivered from Sofia to Khanty-Mansiysk on 17/9. B735 VQ-BJT (28900) was delivered from Vilnius to Khanty-Mansiysk on 22/9 after acceptance.

Former ARAMCO DH8Bs LN-WSB (440 ex N724SA) & LN-WSC (441 ex N725SA), which were registered to the carrier in May, were then registered to Field Aviation as C-GLUF & C-GLUG respectively in July, presumably without entering service with Wideroe. Both left Bodo on 20/9 wearing their Canadian registrations & bound for Toronto.

For what it is worth, the latest rumour regarding the new Ryanair B738s, recently registered to Boeing, is that Southwest, desperate for B738s to replace their B712s, made Ryanair an offer that they couldn't refuse. The "missing" B738 from last week, EI-ESM (34992), was registered to Boeing as N441BA on 9/9.

Ryanair. Somewhat mysteriously, four B738s for Ryanair were registered to Boeing on 7/9 amid news that these were four of five being sold to Avolon in November. The latest news is that the aircraft are still due to go to Ryanair, so maybe this is a sale & leaseback deal (though a sale to a Middle Eastern customer has also been mentioned!).
