Air China A333 B-6512 (1087) made its first flight on 3/2 as F-WWKD & in full Air China scheme.
Air Contractors now also have A300Fs EI-OZE (152 ex OO-DLC) & EI-OZG (208 ex OO-DLG). Both were registered at Leipzig on 1/2 & remain in DHL scheme. In addition, EI-OZA (148 ex OO-DIF) was restored to the Irish register on 3/2. Air France A388 F-HPJB (040) made a test flight from Finkenwerder as F-WWSE on 2/2, but had to divert to Toulouse. It returned to Finkenwerder the following day.
Alitalia A321 I-BIXJ (0959) was noted wearing EI-IXJ under the wing at LHR on 1/2. Is the entire fleet to be reregistered? A320 EI-DTL (4108) will probably not be delivered any time soon, as it is now in storage condition at Toulouse, in full scheme & still as F-WWDS.
BA Cityflyer E170 G-LCYI (17000305) arrived at Exeter on delivery on 31/1. It was then ferried to London City as CFE01P on 3/2 for service entry & made its first revenue flight the following day as CFE96E to Edinburgh.
Belair A320 HB-IOP (4187) made its first flight on 1/2 in full Air Berlin scheme as D-AVVY.

Blue Wings A320 D-ANNF (1650) was ferried from Dusseldorf to Lourdes on 5/2 for further storage.
BoraJet ATR72 TC-YAB (588) was delivered from Monchengladbach to Istanbul n 3/2 still in Alitalia Express scheme.
Brussels A/L B734 OO-VEJ (24271) left Brussels on 1/2 bound for Goodyear, AZ via Keflavik & Milwaukee, WI on return to the lessor.

Condor B753 D-ABOB (29017) was ferried from Frankfurt to Helsinki on 2/2 for winglet fitting. D-ABON (29023) returned to Frankfurt on 5/2 following winglet fitting at Helsinki.
Denim Air Fk50s returning to Maastricht following lease to Arik Air have been PH-KXM (20252) on 30/1 & PH-JXJ (20232) on 1/2.

EasyJet A320 G-EZTR (4179) was ferried from Dinard to Finkenwerder as D-AVVX on 1/2. B737 G-EZJS (32414) left Southend on 4/2 as F-GZTC on delivery to Europe Airpost at Nimes. It is all white & devoid of titles. G-EZJX (32419) flew its last revenue service on 4/2 from as EZY106N from Berlin/Schonefeld & was ferried to Southend the following day. This is also destined for Europe Airpost & will become F-GZTD.   
Emirates A388 A6-EDL (046) made its first flight on 29/1 as F-WWAG in primer but with Emirates tail markings & was ferried from Toulouse to Finkenwerder on 5/2.
Euro Atlantic Cargo B763F CS-TLZ (24086) was delivered from Tel Aviv to Lisbon on 4/2 following freighter conversion.

Finnair MD-11 OH-LGF (48766) was ferried from Helsinki to Singapore/Paya Lebar for storage on 27/1. The carrier has postponed retirement of its last MD-11 to 22/2 & the final scheduled flight from Delhi to Helsinki will be operated by the airline's last active MD-11, OH-LGG (48753), though it will also operate a charter from Helsinki to Vancouver & back between 28/3 & 1/4. Disposition of the remainder of the fleet is as follows.

Hellas Jet temporarily ceased operations on 17/1 & its two A320s were ferried to storage as follows.

It is understood that operations will restart with SX-BVK after it has completed a D check & that a further A320 will be added.
Iberia will be taking another A319 in the near future. D-AVWZ (3744), which had been cocooned at Finkenwerder for some months, was noted test flying on 3/2 & 4/2 & then became EC-LEI before flying in primer from Finkenwerder to Madrid for painting on 5/2. A320 EC-HQG (1379) is to become VQ-BFM for Vladivostok Avia & is scheduled for delivery from Madrid late this month.

Lufthansa A388 D-AIMB (041) was ferried from Toulouse to Finkenwerder on 3/2 as F-WWAF in primer scheme, but with Lufthansa tail markings. A319 D-AIBB (4182) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Frankfurt on 5/2.
Lufthansa Cityline CRJ2 D-ACJD was ferried from Amsterdam to Cologne on 3/2 after painting into UT Air scheme & is to become VQ-BGO.
Malev Fk70 HA-LMC was ferried from Budapest to Norwich on 3/2 for painting into Carpatair scheme & will become YR-KMC.

F-WJKO A319CJ (3994), originally intended for TMT Aviation as 9H-ERO & currently parked at Toulouse, will now go the Qatar Amiri Flight.
G-BZAW B463 (E3354) with Cobham Aviation Services was cancelled from the UK register on 3/2 as exported to Australia.
G-THFC EMB135BJ (14500954) of London Executive Aviation is a reregistration from G-RRAZ, with the new registration standing for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
M-FAHD B727 (19254 ex VH-TJD, N8043B, N10XY, N682G, VP-BAB) of Prime Air Corp was ferried from Cairo to Perpignan for maintenance on 31/1, before continuing to Keflavik & the USA on 5/2.
N473CT B733 (23774 ex OO-SDY, D-ADIE, N774CT, F-GRNF, EC-JQX, G-CFOD) registered to CIT Aerospace was ferried from Bournemouth to Leeds/Bradford on 2/2, returning to Bournemouth later in the day following demo flights. The aircraft is now in a 48-seat VIP layout.
OE-ILV CRJ850 (8082) for VistaJet arrived at Munich on delivery on 5/2.
VP-CVW A319CJ (4024) was delivered to VW Air Services on 1/2. It still requires cabin outfitting, after which it is expected to replace VP-CVX (1212).
VQ-BOS B737BBJ2 (35792 ex N737GQ) was delivered to Bayham Holdings via Stansted on 4/2. It left Kelly Field, TX on 1/2 & was reregistered from N737GQ en route at Bradley, CT.
Olympic Air A320 SX-OAU (4193) was delivered from Toulouse to Athens on 3/2, with SX-OAT (4190) following on 5/2.
Olympic A/L B733 SX-BLC (26303) was ferried from Athens to Shannon on behalf of ILFC on 2/2, all white but with Olympic titles.
Onur Air A321 TC-OBF (0963) was delivered from Shannon to Istanbul on 31/1. The carrier is to acquire three A333s in time for the summer season.
Pullmantur Air B744 EC-KSM (27178) left Singapore on 3/2 on its way back to Madrid following Hajj operations with Garuda & a D check.
Rossiya. A recent report in the Russian press states that Rossiya & Aeroflot are to merge later this year.
Ryanair B738 EI-EKL (38498) made its first fight on 2/2, followed by EI-EKM (38499) on 3/2 & EI-EKN (35026) was noted on the flightline at Renton, WA the same day.
SATA DH8D CS-TRD (4291) left Toronto on 2/2 on delivery.
Smartwings B735 OK-SWU (26703) was ferried from Prague to Cluj on 3/2 on wet-lease to Blue Air.
Spanair MD83 EC-GOM (49579) left Palma on 3/2 bound for Recife via Dakar on lease to Andes Líneas Aéreas.
Swiss International A332s HB-JHF (1089) & HB-JHG (1101) were both noted at Toulouse on 1/2 in full scheme as F-WWKI & F-WWYI respectively. HB-JHF/F-WWKI made its first flight on 3/2.
THY has reached agreement with Boeing for ten B738s & ten B739s to be delivered between 2011 & 2014. It also has taken options on a further fifteen B737s for delivery from 2013 to 2015.
Transavia B738 PH-HSW (37160) has become 9Y-TJR for winter lease to Caribbean A/L & left Amsterdam on 1/2 bound for Port of Spain via Santa Maria (Azores).
Travel Service B738 OK-TVM (37077) arrived at Prague on delivery on 4/2.
Turkmenistan A/L B733 EZ-A001 (26855) was ferried from Prague to Turkmanbashi after a period of storage.
United A/W has added a second MD-83 to its fleet, S2-AEH (49937 ex G-COES, EI-CMM, VP-BGH, HK-4410, N30010, N983JJ, YR-MDT, YR-HBA) on lease from Medallion Air.
UPS B763F N337UP (37858) left Paine Field, WA on 2/2 on delivery to Louisville, KY.

Aer Arann is to operate twelve routes on behalf of Aer Lingus under the name Aer Lingus Regional. As a result, airline will reportedly add four ATR72-500s to its fleet, all in Aer Lingus scheme.
Aer Lingus A333 EI-DUB (055) was flown back to Shannon from Manchester on 29/1 following painting into Vladivostok Avia scheme.
Afriqiyah A320 5A-ONJ (4203) made its first flight on 28/1 as F-WWBF & in full Afriqiyah scheme
Air Baltic. The airline's first DH8D left Toronto on 25/1 to make an appearance at the Singapore air show. Registered C-FZGL (289), it is to become YL-BAE. This is the first of eight aircraft on order, with four due for delivery this year & four in 2011.
Air Berlin B738 D-ABKJ (37749) was rolled out at Renton, WA on 25/1, while D-ABKI (37748) arrived at Berlin/Tegel on delivery on 28/1. D-ABBP (29641) was ferried from Hannover to Norwich on 25/1 for painting all white prior to return to the lessor.

Air Contractors latest ATR72 N640AS (405) arrived at Edinburgh on 24/1, one day later than expected as it routed from Keflavik to Edinburgh via Dublin. The carrier now has two further former Belgian-registered A300Fs, EI-OZF (259 ex OO-DLD) & EI-OZH (234 ex OO-DLI), & both were registered at Leipzig on 22/1. It is expected that EI-OZE/G will be registered very shortly.
Air France Cargo. Two B777Fs originally intended for the carrier have been sold to FedEx.
Air Seychelles B763 S7-AHM (26328) took over the old Flyglobespan service from RAF Brize Norton to Ascension & the Falkland Islands from 24/1.
Alitalia A320 EI-EIA (4195) was flown from Finkenwerder to Toulouse as F-WWIL on 27/1. Also see under Omni Air International.

Avient MD-11F Z-BVT (48410) was delivered from Miami, FL to Liege on 27/1. Note corrected registration.

I understand that this will be the first of two aircraft to be chartered to Chevron for a big gas project in NW Australia. EMB170 G-LCYI (17000305) was registered on 28/1.

Cathay Pacific B-HKD (26548), which was registered to WFBN as N548MD on 12/1, left Hong Kong on 25/1 routing via Anchorage, AK to Goodyear, AZ for storage. B773 B-KPO (36160) left Paine Field, WA on 25/1 on delivery to Hong Kong.
Contactair Fk100 D-AFKD (11500) was delivered from Woensdrecht to Saarbrucken on 27/1.
Cyprus A/W is to add two further A320s to its fleet this year, replacing older aircraft. The first will be former US A/W example N674AW (2359), due next month, with VIA example LZ-MDT (2108) expected in May.
Danish Air Transport MD83 OY-RUE (49936 ex G-HCRP, TC-INB, EI-CPA, EC-GVI, N936MD, YR-HBZ) was registered on 24/1. This aircraft was last with Medallion Air.

Euro Atlantic B772 CS-TFM (28513) positioned from Lisbon to Dacca on 23/1 in full Bangladesh Biman scheme.
Eurowings CRJ9 D-ACNK (15251) is due to be delivered to Nuremberg on 30/1 & is in Lufthansa Cityline scheme.
FedEx MD-10-10F N381FE (46615) was ferried from Memphis, TN to Victorville, CA for storage on 22/1. Also see under Air France Cargo.
Finnair will fly its last scheduled MD-11 service on 31/1 & 1/2 from Helsinki to Delhi & back.
Freebird A320 TC-FBH (4207) made its first flight on 27/1 as F-WWBP & was ferried from Toulouse to Finkenwerder the same day. It is all white & without titles.
Hello MD-90 HB-JIC (53576) left Stockholm/Arlanda on 23/1 routing via Keflavik & Bangor, ME to Greensboro, NC where it will be prepared for Delta as N919DN. It was followed two days later by HB-JIB (53553), which is to become N918DH.
JAL B744 JA8072 (24424) was registered to Kalitta Air as N742CK on 14/1 following freighter conversion & was noted in service all white on 24/1 operating from New York/JFK to Hong Kong via Leipzig & Bahrain.
Jettime is to add a sixth B733 to its fleet later this year.
Jet2 B733 G-GDFA (24011 ex OE-IAD) was registered on 22/1 & was followed on 28/1 by B752 G-LSAK (27973 ex N517AT).

Kenya A/W B763 N244AV (24484 ex A4O-GH, HA-LHD, EI-CXB, SP-LPD, 5Y-KQR) was ferried from storage at Chateauroux, where it had been since 29/7 last year, to Nairobi on 26/1. It had originally been destined for Avianca & will presumably take up the registration 5Y-KQR again.
KLM B737 PH-BGI (30364) made its first flight on 26/1.
KLM Cityhopper E190 PH-EZL (19000338) arrived at Amsterdam on delivery on 23/1. The airline now intends to keep five Fk100s in service, but with a reduced seating capacity down from 108 to 100 seats allowing flights to be operated by two flight attendants. The final Fk50 will be retired on 27/3.
Lufthansa A388 D-AIMB (041) made it first flight as F-WWAF on 22/1 in primer scheme but with Lufthansa tail markings. This aircraft is not due for delivery until June this year. A319 D-AIBB (4182) made its first flight on 28/1 as D-AVWK.
Lufthansa Cityline E190 D-AECC (19000333) arrived at Munich on delivery on 23/1, with D-AECB (19000322) following on 29/1. CRJ2 D-ACJD (7135) was ferried from Cologne to Amsterdam on 24/1 for painting into UT Air scheme. Also see under Eurowings.

VP-CBN A319CJ (3243) of DC Aviation left Toulouse on 28/1 on delivery to Stuttgart.
Olympic Air DHC8 SX-BIO (330) was ferried from Athens to Exeter via Ancona & Toulouse on 24/1 for overhaul at Exeter & subsequent painting at Norwich. A320 SX-OAU (4193) was flown back from Finkenwerder to Toulouse on 25/1 as F-WWIJ & SX-OAT (4190) was ferried from Finkenwerder to Toulouse as F-WWII on 27/1.
Omni Air International former Alitalia B763 N378AX (28147 ex I-DEIL) routed from Tel Aviv to Shannon on delivery on 28/1.
Qatar A/W B772LR A7-BBF (36018) left Paine Field, WA on 28/1 on delivery to Doha.  
Quantum Air is the latest European airline to fail, having ceased operations on 26/1. At this time, its fleet consisted of the following B712s - EC-HNY (55068), EC-HNZ (55059), EC-HOA (55060), EC-HUZ (55066) & EC-JZX (55065). The last mentioned aircraft was already in store at Palma & has been joined by the other four.
Rossiya A320 VQ-BEY (0426) was noted at Perpignan on 28/1 in full scheme prior to delivery. This aircraft was previously with Air Comet as EC-KBM.

Emirates A388 A6-EDH (025) set off on its delivery flight as UAE7380 on 18/1. This was the 6000th Airbus delivery.
Etihad A332F F-WWKG (1032) made its first flight on 20/1 in primer scheme with Etihad engines. Its future in-service registration is not yet known.
Euro Atlantic A/W B763 CS-TLO (24318) was ferried from Lisbon to Algiers on 18/1 on lease to Air Algerie.
Eurowings B462 D-AEWE (E2077) was delayed & was ferried from Exeter to Southend on 18/1 & not 15/1 as stated last week. B463 D-AHOI (E3187) was ferried from Nuremberg to Exeter on 19/1 prior to return to the lessor. The carrier is to withdraw seventeen CRJ2s & both its CRJ7s as it concentrates on CRJ9 operations. It currently has ten in service with a further five on order.

Freebird A320 TC-FBH (4207) was noted all white at Toulouse as F-WWBP on 20/1.
Germanwings A310 D-AGWO (4166) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Cologne on 22/1.
JAL filed for bankruptcy protection on 18/1. With debts of over $25 billion, the carrier has committed to a sweeping restructure, which will see it drastically reduce the size of its fleet & its route network. Older, less fuel-efficient aircraft, including all the B744s, are expected to be retired first.
Jet2 is to add a further B752 to its fleet. Former ATA example N517AT (27973) left Victorville, CA on 20/1 routing via Bangor, ME to Lasham, where it arrived on 21/1. It is to become G-LSAK & is due to enter service by 10/4.
KLM B737 PH-BGI (30364) was rolled out at Renton, WA on 20/1.
KLM Cityhopper Fk50 PH-LXJ (20270) was ferried all white from storage at Norwich to Maastricht on 20/1 on return to the lessor.

Thomson A/W B752 G-BYAI (26967) left Luton on 20/1 as TOM9802 bound for Lake City, FL via Bangor, ME. The reason for this is currently not known. B733 G-THOG (29057) flew its last revenue service on 1/11 & was ferried to Shannon the following day. It had been thought that this was just for maintenance, but it is now reported that it is to become EI-STA with Europe Airpost & will be based at Dublin.
THY B737 TC-JKJ (34297) was noted in full scheme, but still as N297MD, at Istanbul on 20/1. This one was thought to be for AnadoluJet.

BMI A321 G-MIDL (1174) flew its last revenue service on 4/1 as BMA4PK from Manchester to LHR. It was then ferried to Shannon the following day as BMA9524 & is due to be returned to the lessor in April. The two A332s due to be removed from the fleet on 10/1 have had a stay of execution, with G-WWBB (404) now scheduled to be withdrawn on 25/2 & G-WWBM (398) in late March.
British A/W A320 G-EUYF (4185) made its first flight on 12/1 as F-WWIC in full BA scheme & was ferried to Finkenwerder the same day.
Bulgaria Air B735 LZ-BOP (26704) was ferried from Sofia to Chateauroux on 12/1 on return to the lessor. ATR42 LZ-ATR (151) was ferried from Sofia to Athens on 11/1 on a new lease to Athens A/W.

China Eastern A/L signed a MoU with Airbus for sixteen A330s in late December with deliveries between 2011 & 2014. The carrier is already an A330 operator with five A332s & fifteen A333s in service.
Condor B753 D-ABOJ (29019) was ferried from Helsinki to Frankfurt on 2/1 following winglet fitting.

Aer Arann will take delivery of former Air Wales ATR42 EI-EHH (196 ex G-SSEA). It was cancelled from the UK register on 22/12 & allocated the Irish registration the same day. The aircraft had been in storage at Guernsey & Billund since the demise of Air Wales in April 2006.
Aeroflot A321 VQ-BEI (4148) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Moscow/Sheremetyevo on 23/12.
AeroLogic B777F D-AALC (36003) left Paine Field, WA on 23/12 on delivery to Leipzig. D-AALD (36004) is due for delivery next week.

Air Contractors A300Fs OO-DIB (274) & OO-DIC (220) have reverted to their previous registrations of EI-DHL & EI-SAF. The former was noted as such at Leipzig on 17/12 still in basic DHL scheme, while the latter was reregistered on 16/12 & noted in service on 18/12.
Air France A320 F-GFKP (0133) left Paris/CDG as AFR382V on 14/12 bound for Sanford, FL & scrapping. F-GKXZ (4137) was delivered from Toulouse to Paris/CDG on 16/12. Also see under Regional.
Air Transat A313 C-GTSF (472) is unlikely to be seen on this side of the Atlantic for a while. Having completed a C check at Rio de Janeiro, it was undergoing a ground run on 13/12 when the aircraft jumped the chocks. It travelled across the tarmac & then across a road where both wings hit lamp standards, both engines impacted trees & the nosewheel became buried in soft ground. The Canadian TSB has confirmed that there is damage to the leading slats of both wings, the engine cowls, the main gear & probably the nosewheel.
AnadoluJet is due to take yet another B737. This is to be N343CT (34300 ex EI-DNC, XA-PLE), which is currently stored all white at Marana/Pinal Air Park, AZ. Another former Aeromexico machine, XA-LUN (34299 ex EI-DNB), is also expected to follow from storage at Marana.
BA Cityflyer EMB170 G-LCYH (17000302) was registered on 17/12 & is due to arrive at Exeter on delivery on 19/12.
BMI A332s G-WWBB (404) & G-WWBM (398) will be withdrawn from service on 10/1. Further disposals will be A320s G-MEDE (1194), G-MIDP (1732) & G-MIDR (1697) along with A321s G-MIDC (0835) & G-MIDL (1174).
British A/W. Correcting last week's blog, B752 G-CPEN (28666) was still in service, but was due to be stood down on 18/12.

Norwegian Air Shuttle B738 LN-NOI (36820) made its first flight on 9/12, while LN-NOU (29674) was noted on the flightline at Renton, WA on 13/12 & made its first flight on 17/12.
Qantas A388 VH-OQE (027) is due for delivery before Christmas, while VH-OQF (029) was ferried from Finkenwerder to Toulouse as F-WWSA on 14/12 in full scheme & is due for delivery on 29/12.
Regional EMB170 F-HBXG (17000301) arrived at Clermont-Ferrand on delivery on 17/12. It wears Air France scheme.
Ryanair B738 EI-EKA (35022) made its first flight on 16/12. EI-EKB (38494) was rolled out at Renton, WA on 11/12 & made its first flight on 17/12 & EI-EKC (38495) was rolled out the same day. As expected, Ryanair has terminated its discussions with Boeing to purchase a further 200 B738s. It is, however, still expected to take delivery of a further 48 aircraft next year, 37 in 2011, and 27 in 2012.
SAA is to lease six new A332s from Aircastle with deliveries starting in 2011.
Saga A/L B738 TC-SGH (28068) returned to Istanbul on 16/12 following lease to Air Manas.
SAS B737 LN-RNU (34548) left Boeing Field on 11/12 on its delivery flight to Stockholm/Arlanda.

G-FCLD (28718) was cancelled from the register on 16/12, has become C-FULD again & left Manchester for Toronto on winter lease to Skyservice on 18/12. A320 G-SUEW (1961) was also cancelled on 16/12, has become C-GUEW for winter lease to Skyservice & left Manchester en route Montreal as SSV9501 on 17/12. G-DHJZ (1965) was cancelled from the register on 17/12 & will presumably become C-FOJZ again for Skyservice.

Air Berlin B738 D-ABKG (37746) arrived at Berlin/Tegel as BER010 on delivery on 5/12. A320 D-ABDJ (2865) was ferried back from Cambridge to Munich as BER666P on 8/12 having been painted all white.

Air Transat A313 C-GTSI (595) has become EK-31095 with Vertir. It was ferried from Seville to Fujairah on 7/12 & is for an Iranian carrier.
Alitalia A320 EI-DTN (4143) was ferried from Finkenwerder to Toulouse on 8/12.
Astraeus B737 G-STRH (32737) was ferried from Bournemouth to Lasham as AEU006P on 2/12. It is still in Trawel fly scheme & it was then flown to Manchester on 11/12 for painting for Cimber Air. B733 G-STRJ (25119), recently returned from the defunct Seagle Air, has replaced it with Trawel fly (see Skyliner for a photo).
Athens A/W EMB145 SX-CMB (145167) was flown from Athens to Exeter via Ancona as ATW001 on 10/12 on return to the lessor. It is seemingly being replaced by an Astra A/L B463 due to better than expected passenger loads.
BA CityFlyer B463 G-BXAS (E3301) flew its last revenue service from Edinburgh to London City on 8/12 as CFE74D. It was then ferried to Kemble as CFE04P on return to the lessor.
Bangladesh Biman. Despite being close to receiving its first B772, the airline is about to take delivery of another A313. Former Air Comet example N301LF (642 ex HB-IPM, A4O-OD, N642KS, EC-IPT) was ferried from storage at Rio de Janeiro/Galeao to Miami, FL on 11/12 prior to delivery to the carrier later this month.  
Bluewings A321 D-ANJA (4044) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Dusseldorf as BWG001P on 8/12, all white & devoid of titles.
British A/W B744 G-BNLV (25427) left Cardiff on 7/12 as BAW9150 en route to Victorville, CA for storage. B752 G-CPEN (28666) flew its last revenue service on 5/12 as BAW485 from Barcelona to LHR & has joined the others of this type in store at LHR awaiting ferrying the USA for FedEx.
China A/L Cargo B744F B-18712 (33729) is the latest large freighter to leave storage & it was ferried from Victorville, CA to Los Angeles, CA on 3/12.

Continental A/L B772s N76021 (39776) & N77022 (39777) were registered on 3/12 & 4/12 respectively. Both are due for delivery before year-end.
Denim Air Fk50 PH-FZH (20210) left Maastricht on 5/12 en route to Arik Air. It will be operated by Denim Air.
DHL A300F OO-DIH (184) has been restored to Air Contractors as EI-OZB. It was noted in service as such operating from Leipzig to Frankfurt as ABR6545 on 9/12, still in basic DHL scheme. OO-DIJ (189) had also reverted to EI-OZC by the following day. It appears that all the A300Fs are to move from the Belgian to the Irish register in order to operate under the Air Contractors AOC.
EasyJet B737 G-EZJT (32415) was cancelled from the UK register on 4/12 & left Southend early that evening as HK-4675 on delivery to Aires Colombia at Bogotá. A319 G-EZFS (4129) arrived at Gatwick on delivery as EZY1P on 8/12. Having being delivered to Belfast on 3/12, G-EZFR (4125) remained there for ground training until eventually entering revenue service on 10/12.
Etihad A333 A6-AFB (1081) made its first flight on 10/12 as F-WWYL, in primer scheme, but with Etihad tail colours.
Eurex Cargo is a new Georgian freight operator & its first B742F 4L-KMK (23139 ex JA8168, VP-BID, N106TZ) was noted untitled & in basic NCA scheme at Hong Kong on 10/12.
Eurowings B463 D-AEWM (E3125) was ferried from Exeter to Southend as DLH9920 on 8/12 for further storage.
Flyglobespan B738 G-CEJP (29646) left Lasham as ETH9201 on 8/12 on delivery to Ethiopian A/L as ET-AMZ. It was due to fly direct to Addis Ababa.
Hapag-Lloyd B738 D-AHFK (27991) left Hannover on 5/12 on lease to CanJet until 02/06/10. D-AHFA (27981) was reregistered C-GCQS on 4/12 & also left Hannover on 5/12 on lease to CanJet until 28/04/10. Following these was B738 D-ATUH (34689), which left Hannover for Canada on 11/12 on lease until 03/05/10.  
KLM B733 PH-BDD (23540) was ferried from Amsterdam to Kemble as KLM7451 on 7/12 for scrapping. It was followed three days later by PH-BDC (23539), which used the same callsign & is due to meet the same fate. A brighter future is in store for PH-BDU (24857), which has become 5A-MAB for Buraq Air Transport & was ferried from Woensdrecht to Amsterdam on 9/12, in basic KLM scheme & for painting.
KLM Cityhopper Fk50 PH-LXP (20276) was ferried from Amsterdam to Norwich as KLM7331 on 5/12 prior to return to the lessor.
Lufthansa A320 D-AIZB (4120) was delivered to Munich as DLH9851 on 9/12. A306 D-AIAT (618) was ferried from Hamburg to Kiev/Borispol in basic scheme on 10/12 & may be destined for Mahan Air.
Neos B763 EI-DMJ (27958) has recently returned from Abu Dhabi sporting winglets. EI-DOF (27610) is to be similarly fitted.
New Axis A/W, formed earlier this year from the original Axis A/W, suspended operations on 2/12. B738 F-GZZA (28591) was ferried from Ostrava to Shannon on 8/12. B733QC F-GIXG (24364) & B738 F-GIRS (28612) remain stored at Ostrava.
Norwegian Air Shuttle B738 LN-NOI (36820) made its first flight on 9/12.

Qatar A/W B772LR A7-BBD (36016) left Paine Field, WA on 7/12 on delivery to Doha.
Ryanair B738 EI-EKA (35022) had made it onto the flightline at Renton, WA by 10/12. Mike O'Leary stated on 8/12 that Ryanair is unlikely to place a big order for 200 new B737s with Boeing. According to O'Leary, they had effectively reached agreement on the price for the aircraft, but that Boeing wanted to renegotiate delivery terms that were worse than those they already had. A final decision will be made at a board meeting on 17/12. If no deal is agreed by then, the airline will curb its expansion plans, defer deliveries of some 737s & cancel an option it holds for ten aircraft.
S7 A/L A320 VQ-BET (4150) was flown back from Finkenwerder to Toulouse on 10/12.
SAS B735 LN-BRS left storage at Shannon on 10/12 & was ferried all white to Bournemouth as SAS9150.
SmartLynx A320 YL-BBC (0142) was ferried from Shannon to Vilnius on 8/12 after painting all white.
TAP A320 CS-TNV (4145) was ferried from Finkenwerder back to Toulouse on 7/12.  
Thomson A/W B752 G-BYAD (26963), which was ferried to Goodyear, AZ on 17/11, was cancelled from the UK register on 7/12 & has become N963BV for Wells Fargo Bank Northwest. G-CPEV (29943) was also cancelled from the UK register on 7/12 & has become C-GOEV again, leaving Luton on 8/12 as SSV9303 for winter lease to Skyservice. G-OOBH (29944) was cancelled from the UK register on 9/12. It has taken up the marks C-FOBH once again for winter lease to Skyservice & left Manchester for Saskatoon on 11/12.
TNT B462QT G-BNPJ (E2078) positioned from Norwich to Liege as TNT146E on 7/12 following storage.  
Turkuaz Air will be adding a third A321 to its fleet this month. N361LF (1905 ex 6Y-JMR) was cancelled from the US register on 7/12 & has been noted at Miami, FL prior to delivery.
United A/L placed orders on 8/12 for twenty-five A350s & the same number of B787s. It is also taking out options on a further fifty of each type. These will be used to replace the carrier's B747s & B767s, with deliveries between 2013 & 2016. Good news also for Rolls Royce who have been selected as the engine supplier for the A350s. A decision concerning where it will place its order for a hundred narrow-body aircraft has been deferred until next year.
US A/W A332 N283AY (1076) left Toulouse on 8/12 as AWE9244 on delivery to Mobile, AL.
Viking B738 SE-RHR (30637) left Shannon on 7/12 en route to Toronto & winter lease to Sunwing A/L.

Aer Lingus. Having failed to reach agreement with staff & unions, the carrier is about to embark on a programme of compulsory redundancies, route cuts & fleet reduction.
Aeroflot A321 VQ-BEG (4116) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Moscow/Sheremetyevo as AFL8126 on 2/12. A333 VQ-BCU (1065) was delivered from Toulouse to Moscow/Sheremetyevo as AFL8258 on 3/12.
Aerologic's third & fourth B777Fs, D-AALC (36003) & D-AALD (36004), were reported on the line at Everett, WA on 2/12.
Air Berlin A320 D-ABFB (4128) was delivered from Toulouse to Berlin/Tegel as BER666P on 1/12. D-ABDJ (2865) was ferried from Munich to Cambridge on 1/12 to be painted all white.
Air Contractors ATR72 EI-SLK (395 ex N642AS) flew from Edinburgh to Paris/CDG as ABR01 on 30/11 following conversion.
Air Dolomiti ATR72 I-ADCC (662 ex D-ANFI) was ferried from Bordeaux to Verona on 28/11 after painting.
Air France A320 F-GKXZ/F-WWIZ (4137) was ferried from Finkenwerder back to Toulouse on 3/12.
Air France Cargo B777F F-GUOA arrived at Paris/CDG as AFR328V on 1/12 on delivery from Paine Field, WA following a period of storage. F-GUOD (32969) was noted at Everett, WA on 2/12 as N449BA. It has since been flown to Marana/Pinal Air Park all white for storage.
Air Italy B763 I-AIGG (28041) was ferried from Naples to Jeddah on 1/12 for Hajj operations.
Alitalia A320 EI-DTN (4143) made its first flight on 1/12 as F-WWBB in full Alitalia scheme & was ferried to Finkenwerder the same day. EI-DTK/F-WWBN (4075) & EI-DTL/F-WWDS (4108) remain parked at Toulouse in full Alitalia scheme.
Arik Air B738 5N-MJQ (38971) was noted at Boeing Field on 2/12. This will be the fourth to be delivered to the airline from an order for nineteen.
Astraeus B752s G-OJIB (24292) & G-STRX (25621) will return to Gatwick next month following their spell with Saudi Arabian A/L. The lease of G-STRY (28161) to BMI has been extended for a further 12 months to April 2011.
Augsburg A/W DH8D D-ADHT (4281) arrived at Munich on delivery from Canada on 2/12. It wears Lufthansa Regional scheme.
Avient MD-11F Z-BAV (48408 ex N408SH, HL7372, N988PG, PR-LGD), which had only been delivered to the carrier on 20/11, fell back onto the ground just past the end of the runway shortly after lifting off at Shanghai/Pudong on 28/11 & burst into flames. The aircraft was en route to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan &, sadly, three of the seven on board were killed. A second aircraft, currently registered N575SH (48410 ex HL7374, PR-LGE) is at Miami in full scheme, but whether it will be taken up now is unclear.
BA CityFlyer EMB170 G-LCYG (17000300) arrived at Exeter on delivery on 28/11 as CFE170P & positioned over to London City as CFE002P on 2/12.
Bangladesh Biman will soon receive its first leased B772. Former Singapore A/L example 9V-SRA (28513) made an acceptance flight painted all white at Singapore on 30/11.

CCM A/L A320 F-HBEV (3952) was delivered from Toulouse to Madrid in primer scheme on 2/12 for cabin reconfiguration. This aircraft had been stored at Toulouse & was originally intended for Iberia. CCM A/L is also to receive A320 c/n 3882 & A319s c/n 3651 & 3744, all of which were not taken up by Iberia. The A320 is currently stored at Toulouse & the A319s at Finkenwerder.
China Southern Cargo B777Fs B-2073 (37311) & B-2075 (37312) both left Paine Field, WA on 2/12 on delivery to Tianjin.
Continental A/L B772 N78017 (31679) now wears Star alliance scheme.
CSA B734 OK-WGY (25839) has been leased to Danube Wings & was delivered from Prague to Poprad/Tatry on 1/12, entering service the same day.

The latest A319, G-EZFR (4125), was delivered to Belfast on 3/12. G-EZFS (4129) is due to be delivered to Gatwick on 8/12, with G-EZFT (4132) going to Luton on 21/12. Catching up on some older news that I think I missed, former GB A/W A321 G-TTIC (1869) was flown back from Gatwick to Shannon as EZY1P on 1/10 for a further period of storage, while A320 G-TTOF (1918) was ferried from Gatwick to Shannon on 9/11 for storage, still in a hybrid easyJet/GB A/W scheme. 
Emirates B773 A6-ECY (35595) was noted on the line at Everett, WA on 2/12.

Flybe DH8D LN-WDU (4197) arrived back at Exeter on 28/11 in Flybe scheme & was restored as G-ECOC on 2/12.
Georgian A/W now has another B735 registered 4L-TGA (28055 ex PT-SSG, N101LF, B-2110). This replaces the previous B735 4L-TGA (25218 ex OO-SYE, UR-GAI, N218CT), which is now stored at Tblisi as N22YH. The new aircraft is a former OK Air example & entered service on 25/11.

Korean Air has ordered eight B748s for delivery between 2013 & 2015. These are in addition to eight B748Fs already on order with deliveries due from late 2011 onwards.
Lufthansa Cityline EMB195 D-AEBD (19000324) arrived at Munich on delivery on 28/11.

Moscovia A/L former SAS B738 VQ-BFU (30467 ex SE-DTN) was seen wearing its new registration & awaiting delivery at Stockholm/Arlanda on 1/12. SE-DTP (30468) will follow & was also noted at Stockholm/Arlanda on 1/12, but still carrying its Swedish registration, though by 3/12 was wearing VQ-BFR. Both aircraft are in full scheme & were returned to SAS in the spring after lease to Air Europa & had been in storage ever since.
Northwest B742 N623US (21705) was ferried Minneapolis/St Paul, MN on 25/11 for storage at Marana/Pinal Air Park, AZ. Two days later, N624US (21706) departed Colorado Springs, CO bound for the same destination.
Norwegian Air Shuttle B738 LN-NOI (36820) has been rolled out at Renton & should make its first flight shortly. LN-NOU (29674) was also noted on the line at Renton, WA on 2/12.
Olympic Air A320 SX-OAS (4094) was delivered from Bordeaux to Athens on 2/12 following painting.

TAP A320 CS-TNV (4145) made its first flight today as F-WWIY in full TAP scheme & was then ferried from Toulouse to Finkenwerder
Thomson A/W B763 G-OOBK left Gatwick on 29/11 as TOM9234 bound for Bangor, ME & then onward to Greensboro, NC for winglet fitting. G-OOBL (27393) left Greensboro, NC on 29/11 bound for Manchester, arriving there early on 30/11 as TOM9238 following winglet fitting. B738 G-FDZA (35134) re-entered service on 1/12 following the application of its special Christmas scheme.
Titan B752 G-ZAPU (26151) has been returned to the lessor & entered storage at Southend on 5/10. B763 G-POWD (30847) is due to leave Taipei on delivery to the UK on 18/12.
Trade Air swapped over the Fk100 leased to Petro Air on 1/12. 9A-BTD (11407) was ferried from Zagreb to Mitiga, with 9A-BTE (11416) then returning to Bratislava.

Austrian Arrows DH8D OE-LGK (4280) left Toronto on 27/11 all white on its delivery flight. The airline has a further three due for delivery next year.
BA Cityflyer EMB170 G-LCYG (17000300) is due at Exeter on delivery on 28/11.
Belair A320 HB-IOT (2991 ex D-ABDL) was ferried from Zurich to Eindhoven on 23/11 for painting all white for Azerbaijan A/L. HB-IOW (3055 ex D-ABDO) was registered at Dusseldorf on 20/11 & ferried from there to Zurich on 26/11 still in old Air Berlin scheme. 
BMI is to reduce its mainline fleet by nine aircraft. This will see it handing back two of its three A332s when the leases expire in the first half of 2010.
British A/W. The former B735 G-GFFH (27354), now 5N-PVA, left LHR as BAW9267 on 26/11 on delivery to Lagos for Air Midwest.
Carpatair Fk100 YR-FKA (11340) was ferried from Timisoara to Tripoli on 21/11 on lease to Petro Air, with YR-FKB (11369) flying in the opposite direction on the same day at the end of its lease period. The airline will shortly add three former Malev Fk70s to its fleet. The first of these, YR-FMA (11564 ex HA-LMA), will be delivered in December, with YR-FMB (11565 ex HA-LMB) & YR-FMC (11569 ex HA-LMC) to follow in February & March. 
Cathay Pacific B744 B-HKD (26548) was noted all white at Hong Kong on 21/11 prior to return to the lessor. 
Condor B753 D-ABOE (29012) was ferried from Helsinki to Frankfurt on 23/11 after winglet fitting, with D-ABOH (30030) going in the opposite direction on the same day for similar treatment.
EasyJet B737 G-EZJB (30236) was cancelled from the UK register on 24/11 & became N385DF, leaving Southend on its ferry flight to Aerolineas Argentinas on 27/11 with whom it is to become LV-CBG. A319 G-EZFR (4125) made its first flight on 25/11 as D-AVWC & in full scheme.
Emirates B773 A6-ECX (38982) left Paine Field, WA on 25/11 on its delivery flight to Dubai. A345 A6-ERG (608), which suffered a tail strike at Melbourne on 20/3, made a test flight from Toulouse on 24/11 following repairs & left for Dubai the same day as UAE999. It had been ferried unpressurized from Melbourne to Toulouse between 19/6 & 22/6 & the repair cost was estimated at $80 million at that time.
Eurofly A332 I-EEZL has been reregistered EI-EZL & was ferried from Zurich to Milan/Malpensa as such on 27/11. Also see under Meridiana.
Euro Mediterranean B752 SU-BPY (24965) was registered N993FD on 19/11 & left Chateauroux on 22/11 routing via Shannon & Bangor, ME bound for Victorville, CA & freighter conversion for FedEx.
European Air Transport A300F OO-DLY (166) left Leipzig on 18/11 & routed via Brussels, Keflavik before arriving at Bangor, ME on 26/11 from where it will go to Sanford, FL for scrapping.
Eurowings B462 D-AJET (E2201) left Nuremberg on 24/11 heading for Glasgow & Keflavik on delivery to Star Peru.
EVA Air Cargo B744F B-16463 (27174) was ferried from Victorville, CA to Los Angeles, CA on 21/11 following storage.
FedEx B777F N853FD (37724) was delivered from Paine Field, WA to Memphis, TN on 24/11. This is the second of thirty ordered by the airline.
Finnair A333 OH-LTS (1078) made its first flight on 23/11 as F-WWYU in primer scheme, but with Finnair tail markings. It was then ferried from Toulouse to Chateauroux on 27/11 for painting into full scheme.

Flyglobespan B738 G-CDEG (33022) was cancelled from the UK register on 25/11 & was delivered all white as LN-KHD from Lasham to Oslo as NAX8F for Norwegian Air Shuttle on 27/11.
Gulf Air is to sell five of its A343s as it changes strategy to concentrate of short-haul rather than long-haul routes. The airline is to shift its order book from wide-body to narrow-body aircraft & regional jets. How this will affect its orders for twenty A333s & twenty-four B788s is unclear.
Hapag-Lloyd B738 D-AHFK (27991) was ferried from Hannover to Maastricht on 24/11 for painting from Travel Service scheme to TUI yellow prior to winter lease to CanJet. D-AHFO (27987) left Hannover on 26/11 heading for Canada for operation by Hapag-Lloyd on behalf of CanJet until 03/05/10.
HiFly A343 CS-TQM (117) was ferried from Lisbon to Amsterdam as SLM3001 on 26/11 to operate for Surinam A/W (doubtless due to the debacle surrounding PZ-TCP (049)). It then operated SLM993 to Paramaribo on 27/11.
KLM B737 PH-BGK (38053) made its first flight on 25/11.
Lufthansa A306 D-AIAM (408) was ferried from Dresden to Kiev/Borispol on 25/11 in basic scheme & is possibly destined for Mahan Air.
Luxair B738 LX-LGT (28228 ex D-AHFN) was delivered from Hannover to Luxembourg as LGL1 on 24/11.

SAS B737 LN-RNU (34548) made its first flight on 23/11. A343 LN-RKF (413) was ferried from Madrid to Lourdes for storage on 23/11. DHC-8 LN-RDD (4009) was ferried from Exeter to Stockholm/Skavsta as SAS9170 on 23/11 for further storage. B738 SE-DTN (30467) has become VQ-BDI for Moscovia & will be delivered from Stockholm/Arlanda in the near future.

Swiss A332 HB-IQJ (294), now registered VN-A372, left Zurich on 19/11 on delivery to Vietnam A/L at Hanoi. 
THY has placed an order with Airbus for two A332Fs for delivery in late 2010.
Transavia B738 PH-HZA (28373), which has become ZS-ZWO, is now known to have been for Comair & it left Amsterdam on delivery on 22/11.
Travel Service B738 OK-TVB (32362) was ferried back to Prague from Singapore via Dubai on 23/11 following lease to Indochina A/L.
US A/W A332 N282AY (1069) left Toulouse on 25/11 as AWE9240 on delivery to Pittsburgh, PA. The airline is to delay the deliveries of 54 Airbus aircraft & the service entry of the A350 is to be postponed from 2015 to 2017.
Wideroe is due to return DH8D LN-WDU (4197) to Exeter on 28/11. It will be restored to Flybe as G-ECOC. This will be the last of the four aircraft leased from Flybe to be returned. Three more aircraft are on order for the airline, with LN-WDI (4286) scheduled to be delivered next month & followed by LN-WDJ (4290) in January & LN-WDK in 2011.
Wizz Air A320 HA-LPY (4109) made its first flight on 23/11 as D-AVVS.

Aeroflot A321 VQ-BEE (4099) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Moscow/Sheremetyevo on 21/11 & VQ-BEF (4103) is due to follow early next week. A333 VQ-BCV (1072) made its first flight on 19/11 as F-WWYK.
Air Algerie recently placed an order with Boeing for seven B738s. A further four B738s, previously listed for an unidentified customer, have now been identified as for Tassili A/L, which is 49% owned by Air Algerie.
Air Berlin A320 D-ABFA (4101) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Berlin/Tegel as BER666P on 18/11, while D-ABDN (3021) & D-ABDZ (4033) have become HB-IOV & HB-IOR respectively & were delivered from Dusseldorf to Zurich for Belair on 13/11. D-ABDO (3055) has been registered HB-IOW & was noted at Dusseldorf on 20/11 prior to delivery. A321 D-ABCF (1966) left Miami, FL on 17/11 on delivery to Dusseldorf, with D-ABCG (1988) following two days later. B738 D-ABKG (37746) made its first flight on 14/11 & D-ABKH (37747) has been rolled out at Renton.
Air Comet A320 EC-KBM (0426) was ferried from Madrid to Perpignan on 13/11 prior to return to the lessor. A343 EC-KAJ (015), more recently F-WBSR, has become YA-TTB for Safi A/W.

Air France A343 F-GLZG (049) is to become PZ-TCP for Surinam A/W & was delivered from Paris/CDG to Amsterdam on 13/11. It is understood that the Surinam Aviation Authorities have rejected the aircraft & that the B743 will be retained in service until 26/11. In the meantime, some third-party charters may be needed to operate the service.
Air Nostrum ended its agreement with Denim Air at the start of the winter schedules & all eight DHC-8s are now parked at Valencia. 
Air Slovakia. Adding to last week, B733 OM-ASD (23542) has also been leased to Albanian A/L, joining B733 OM-ASE (23545) & B752 OM-ASG (24544) along with Eagle Aviation example F-GTIP (25624).

Alitalia ATR72s I-ATLR (701) & I-ATSM (702) were registered to Nordic Aviation Capital at Cologne on 13/11 as OY-EDC & OY-EDD respectively.

Belair B752s HB-IHR (29379) & HB-IHS (30394) were ferried from Zurich to Munich on 16/11 prior to return to the lessor. Also see under Air Berlin.
Bellview A/L B762 5N-BGG (23805) became N805MT for GECAS back on 8/10 & left Abu Dhabi on 14/11 bound for storage at Victorville, CA. The airline will shortly be receiving B763 5N-BVA (24496) which is currently at Shannon in full scheme & carrying N183AQ. Prior to this, it was with Gulf Air as A4O-GK & A9C-GK.
BMI EMB145 G-RJXN (145336) was withdrawn from service on 2/10 & ferried from Aberdeen to Alverca for storage on 21/10. It was cancelled from the UK register on 19/11 as exported to Ireland & is being registered as EI-EHW to ECC Leasing. G-RJXO (145339) was withdrawn from service at Aberdeen on 16/10 is expected to join G-RJXN at Alverca.
Contactair ATR72 D-ANFI (662) has become I-ADCC for Air Dolomiti & was ferried from Verona to Bordeaux for painting on 20/11.
Corsair B744 F-GTUI (26875) was ferried from Jeddah to Luxembourg on 19/11, still wearing Garuda titles, for maintenance, while F-HSUN (26880) was ferried from Jeddah to Paris/Orly on 20/11, also wearing Garuda titles & for maintenance.

El Al B744 4X-ELD (29311) was ferried from Tel Aviv to Lagos on 13/11 wearing TAT Nigeria titles & logo.
Emirates B777 A6-ECW (31981) left Paine Field, WA on 17/11 on delivery to Dubai & A6-ECX (31982) made its first flight on 15/11.
Ethiopian A/L, a long-time Boeing customer, has placed an order for twelve A350s, with deliveries starting in 2017. The airline also has five B772LRs & ten B787s on order.
Etihad B773 A6-ETF (39700) made its first flight on 16/11.
Eurocypria B738 5B-DBX (33699) left Perpignan as ECA100P on 18/11 on its way to Canada & winter lease to Sunwing A/L.

Lufthansa A320 D-AIZA (4097) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Munich on 20/11. This is the airline's 100th A320 family aircraft.
Lufthansa Cargo MD-11F D-ALCO (48413), which had been parked at Mexico City since making a heavy landing on 14/9, was flown to Victorville, CA on 14/11.
Lufthansa Cityline CRJ2 D-ACHH (7449) was ferried from Amsterdam to Cologne on 17/11 following painting into Rwandair scheme.
Luxair B738 LX-LGT (28228) was ferried from Shannon to Hannover, still as D-AHFN, on 13/11 prior to delivery (scheduled for 23/11).
MCA A/L has gone out of business. Leased A320 YL-LCC (0310) was ferried from Stockholm/Arlanda to Helsinki on 20/11. The SAAB 2000s, SE-LSB (43) & SE-LSE (46), have been ferried to Linkoping, while the Fk100, SE-DUU (11286) which was leased to Petro Air, is stranded somewhere in Libya & requires a new engine
MyAir. All four of this former airline's CRJ-900s were ferried by Bombardier from Venice to Ljubljana in mid November prior to onward sale or lease.

Seagle Air A320 OM-HLE (0453) had been registered OE-IAE for Eden Irish Aircraft Leasing at Sofia by 17/11 & B733 OM-HLX (24011) has become OE-IAD for CIT Aerospace. EUROPEAN AIRLINE SCENE - WEEK ENDING 14-11-09

Aer Lingus. The Irish Times reports that the airline is considering offers for four A320s, three A321s & four A330s in order to cut its cost base & inject some much-needed capital into the company. These are understood to be some of the older aircraft in the fleet.
Aeroflot A321 VQ-BEA (4058) was actually delivered from Finkenwerder to Moscow/Sheremetyevo on 6/11 as AFL1826 & not on 5/11 as I reported last week. Sister ship VQ-BED (4074) was also delivered on the same day as AFL1830. VQ-BEE (4099) made its first flight on 9/11 as D-AZAA. A333 VQ-BCU (1065) made its first flight on 6/11 as F-WWYJ.
Air Atlanta B743 TF-AMJ (23030) emerged from storage at Marana/Pinal Air Park on 7/11 & was ferried to Manston in an all white scheme. It was subsequently flown to Dakar on 10/11 as ABD013P for Hajj operations.
Air Berlin A320 D-ABFA (4101) made its first flight on 6/11 as D-AVVKD-ABDH (2846) was ferried from Eindhoven to Nuremberg on 7/11 all white prior to sale to Azerbaijan A/L & D-ABDI (2853) flew from Hannover to Eindhoven for the same treatment & has also been sold to Azerbaijan A/L. B733 D-ADIJ (25041) left Munich on 12/11 on delivery to Boliviana de Aviacion, with whom it will become CP-2552.
Air Contractors ATR42 EI-SLC (82) was ferried from Shannon to Rome/Fiumicino on 8/11 after painting for Mistral Air. It will be operated by Air Contractors.
Air France A320 F-GKXV (4084) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Paris/CDG as AFR383V on 10/11.
Air Mauritius. Having been in store since 18/4, A343 3B-NAV (094) was ferried from Mauritius to Brussels in an all white scheme on 11/11. 
Air Slovakia B752 OM-ASG (24544) was ferried from Bratislava to Southend on 9/11 & then returned to Bratislava on 12/11 now sporting Albanian A/L titles prior to lease. It has since continued its journey to Tirana & has already entered service. Also on lease to Albanian A/L is B733 OM-ASE (23545), which was ferried from Ostrava to Tirana on 12/11 after decals had been applied. 
Air Transat A313 C-GTSI (595) was cancelled from the Canadian register on 10/11 prior to ferrying from Montreal to Chateauroux for painting for an operator in Armenia.

Alitalia A320 EI-DTM (4119) made its first flight on 9/11 as F-WWIE in full scheme. It was ferried from Toulouse to Finkenwerder the same day.
American Trans Air B753 N560TZ (33525) has found a new home & is to become N57870 with Continental A/L. It left Victorville, CA on 5/11 en route to Hong Kong for maintenance & painting prior to delivery.
ANA is to withdraw its last three international B744s next year. The ten domestic B744Ds will remain in service until replaced by B787s.
AnadoluJet. Former Aeromexico B737 N298MD (34298 ex EI-DMY, XA-ZIM) is yet another aircraft due to go to this carrier. It was ferried from Howard AFB to Shannon via Bermuda on 12/11 & still wears basic Aeromexico scheme.

Augsburg A/W DHC-8 D-BDTM (545) was ferried from Munich to Oberfaffenhoffen on 8/11 for painting for a Gabonaise operator.
Azerbaijan A/L A320 4K-AZ54 (0331) was ferried from Baku to Malta on 10/11 prior to return to the lessor.
B&H A/L is to acquire a pair of B737s next year, one in January & the other in March.
BMI. Desperate for cash, the airline has confirmed that negotiations to sell some of its Heathrow slots to other carriers are well advanced.
British A/W has at last reached a preliminary agreement with Iberia for a merger between the two carriers, though the deal will not be finalised before late 2010. A new holding company, called TopCo, will be created in which BA will have a 55% stake with Iberia holding the other 45%. The airlines will retain their separate brands & the merger will create the third largest airline in the world, with 419 aircraft flying to 205 destinations. B735 G-GFFH (27354) was cancelled from the UK register on 10/11 & is to be delivered from LHR to Air Midwest as 5N-PVA.
Centurion Air Cargo MD-11F N985AR (48430) was ferried from Acadiana, LA to Miami, FL on 7/11 after painting.
Contactair Fk100 D-AFKE (11505) was ferried from Woensdrecht to Stuttgart on 11/11 after repairs following its wheels-up landing on 14/9.
Corendon Air B734 TC-TJD (25375) was ferried from Antalya to Khartoum on 10/11 on winter lease to Sun Air.
Corsair B744 F-HSUN (26880) is currently operating Hajj flights on behalf of Garuda & wearing a hybrid scheme.
Cyprus A/W A320 5B-DAV (0037) left Larnaca on 9/11 en route to Walnut Ridge, AR for scrapping.
Eagle Aviation. Following a period of storage, B752 F-GTIP (25624) was ferried from Tirana to Pristina on 12/11 on lease to Albanian A/L, probably for Hajj operations.
EasyJet A319 G-EZFO (4080) was due for delivery to Stansted on 13/11. B737 G-EZJC (30237) flew its last revenue service on 11/11 as EZY176L from Dortmund to Luton & was ferried to Southend as EZY8003 on 12/11 for preparation for Aerolineas Argentinas.
Emirates is currently considering ordering further aircraft from Airbus & Boeing. Its next two A388s are due for delivery next month, with a further eight between January & November 2010 (a slight delay as all of these had been due by June).
Euro Atlantic A/W B763 CS-TFT (26208) was ferried from Lisbon to Mitiga, Libya on 8/11 for Hajj operations.
Eurowings B462 D-AEWD (E2069) was ferried from Exeter to Southend as DLH9920 on 11/11 for further storage.
EVA Air B773 B-16716 (32642) made its first flight on 9/11.
Flybe DHC-8 G-JECK (4113) was ferried from Southampton to Athens on 4/11 as a short-term replacement for G-ECOE (4212), which was undergoing repairs following a lightning strike. G-JECK was flown back from Athens to Exeter on 12/11. Also see under Wideroe
FlyLAL Charters took delivery of former British A/W B733 LY-AWH (23924) on 9/11 when it was ferried from Bournemouth to Vilnius.
Garuda intends to return to Europe with A332 flights to Amsterdam from 1/6 next year. The airline hopes to follow this with services to Frankfurt, Paris & London.

Monarch B763 G-DIMB (28865) has been subleased to Air Mediterannee from 9/11 until early March 2010, when it will be replaced on lease by an A332 until early May 2010. A300 G-OJMR (605) left Manchester on 11/11 as MON999P on lease to Egypt Air for Hajj operations until mid December.

Pegasus A/L has announced that it is in talks with Boeing concerning the purchase of a further twenty-three B738s by 2012, virtually doubling its fleet.
Qantas B744 VH-OEC (24836) was ferried from Los Angeles, CA to Victorville, CA for storage on 9/11.
Qatar A/W B772LR A7-BBC (36015) left Paine Field, WA on delivery to Doha on 10/11, while A7-BBD (6016) made its first flight on 9/11.
Ryanair B738 EI-EFY (35020) was delivered to Dublin on 7/11. EI-EFV (35017) arrived at Dublin on 11/11. This was delivered out-of-sequence as it had been used by Boeing for tests.
S7 A/L A310 VP-BSZ (468) left Moscow/Domodedovo on 13/11 bound for Orlando/Sanford & a meeting with the scrapman.
SAS DHC-8 LN-RDB (4018), now 5Y-VVX for Blue Bird aviation, left Eindhoven on 7/11, routing via Maastricht, Heraklion & Khartoum on its delivery flight to Kenya. Also see under Spanair.
Seagle Air B733 OM-HLA (23773) has become N773KR with CIT Aerospace & left Bucharest on 10/11 en route to Goodyear, AZ. OM-HLB (25011) was restored to Astraeus as G-STRI at Bournemouth on 10/11.
Spanair MD-87 EC-JYD (49605) was ferried from Palma to Lourdes as JKK8702 on 8/11 for storage on return to SAS.
TAP A320 CS-TNT (4095) was delivered to Lisbon on 6/11. CS-TNU (4106) was ferried back from Finkenwerder to Toulouse on 10/11 & should be delivered shortly.

TUIfly Germany B738 D-AHFN (28228), which entered the paint shop at Shannon on 4/11, is to become LX-LGT with Luxair. It was rolled out on 10/11 in full scheme, but with the German registration taped on. D-AHFL (27985) was ferried from Hannover to Shannon on 12/11 in Travel Service colours for painting prior to lease to CanJet. B733 D-AGEE (24238), due for operations on behalf of Air Berlin, was ferried from Berlin/Tegel to Woensdrecht on 7/11.
Vietnam A/L has signed a MoU with Airbus for the purchase of four A380s.
Wideroe is due to return LN-WDU (4197 ex G-ECOC) to Flybe on 1/12. LN-WDH (4273) arrived at Oslo/Sandefjord on delivery from Canada on 10/11.
XL A/W Germany B738 D-AXLE (30724) was ferried from Frankfurt to Munich as GXL050T on 5/11 prior to wet-lease to Sunwing A/L, while D-AXLF (28218) was noted at Frankfurt in full Air Namibia scheme on 6/11 prior to winter lease.

Aeroflot A321 VQ-BEA (4058) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Moscow/Sheremetyevo on 5/11.
Air Berlin is to take delivery of a pair of ex Air Jamaica A321s in mid November. These are D-ABCF (1966 ex 6Y-JMS, N221LF) & D-ABCG (1988 ex 6Y-JMW, N341LF) & both are currently fully painted at Miami, FL. A320 D-ABDH (2846) was ferried from Hannover to Eindhoven on 2/11 for painting for Azerbaijan A/L.
Air Comet. The former A343 EC-KAJ (015), which became F-WBSR recently, was ferried from Bordeaux to Frankfurt on 5/11 prior to delivery to Safi A/W of Afghanistan.
Air Contractors is adding another ATR72 to its fleet. Former Delta Connection example N641AS (397) was delivered from Kinston, NC to Edinburgh via Dublin, arriving on 1/11. ATR42 EI-SLC (82) entered the paint shop at Shannon on 4/11 to be painted for lease to Mistral Air.
Air Dolomiti ATR72 I-ADCB (660 ex D-ANFH) was flown from Bordeaux to Verona on 1/11 following painting. B463 I-ADJI (E3149), currently stored at Kemble, was restored to the UK register as G-BTZN on 4/11, while I-ADJJ (E3155) was ferried from Kemble to Southend for further storage on 5/11. 
Air France Cargo B777F F-GUOD (32969) made its first flight on 4/11. It is in an all white scheme, so may possibly not be taken up.
Alitalia A320 EI-DTL (4108) was ferried from Chateauroux to Finkenwerder on 4/11, still as F-WWDS. Also see under Centurion Air Cargo.
AnadoluJet continues to expand its fleet & will be adding a pair of former Sky Europe B737s to its fleet early next year. These are currently D-ALAA (34753 ex OM-NGG) & D-ALAB (34755 ex OM-NGJ), both of which are presently being overhauled at Budapest.

BA Cityflyer B463 G-BZAX (E3356) was ferried from Norwich to Kemble as CFE26T on 5/11 after painting into a splendid all white scheme.
BMI. See under Lufthansa.
BMI Baby B733 G-TOYB (26311), which is currently undergoing a C check at Sofia, will go into storage there prior to being returned to the lessor next March or April. G-TOYC (26312) flew its last revenue service on 24/10 from Faro to East Midlands as BMI5532. It was then ferried to Budapest on 25/10 as BMI72TJ for maintenance prior to return to the lessor. A third B733, G-TOYI (28054), flew its last revenue service as BMI5966 from Alicante to East Midlands on 31/10 & was ferried to Sofia the following day as BMI9471 for a C check & is unlikely to return to the fleet, especially as the airline has announced that it is cutting the size if its fleet from seventeen to twelve aircraft.
British A/W B733 G-LGTH (23924), which became N924RM at Bournemouth, had its US registration removed on 6/11 & LY-AWH applied to the nosewheel door. I would imagine that it is destined for FlyLAL Charters. Catching up with some other pieces of news, B733 G-GFFI (27425) flew its last revenue service on 24/10 as BAW2579 from Turin to Gatwick & is now parked awaiting its fate (reportedly for Astraeus). B744 G-BNLV flew its final revenue service on 26/10 from Delhi to LHR & was ferried to Cardiff as BAW9174 on 27/10. It is then to be flown to Victorville, CA. G-BNLD (23911) will be withdrawn later this month. B752 G-BPEI (25806) undertook its last revenue service on 30/10 as BAW461 from Madrid to LHR, while G-BPEE (25060) will be withdrawn mid November.
Calima is a new Spanish operator, who recently took delivery of B734 EC-LDN (24474). It was noted at Las Palmas on 1/11 & was originally delivered to Aer Lingus as EI-BXA, then becoming SU-HMD (Luxor Air), OO-SLW (Sobelair), UR-VVJ (Aerosvit) & N474EA (leasing company). 
Centurion Air Cargo. Correcting last week's blog, the aircraft that was ferried to Acadiana, LA was actually N985AR (48430 ex EI-UPU) & not as stated.
Cirrus A/L Do328 D-CIRQ (3091) was registered to Sierra Nevada Corp as N391EF on 29/10.
Eastern A/W Jetstream 41 G-MAJM (41096) was cancelled from the UK register on 2/11 & it left Humberside on 3/11 as 9N-AJC en route to Naples & then Cairo on delivery to Yeti A/L.
EasyJet A319 G-EZFP (4087) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Gatwick as EZY8004 on 2/11. G-EZFN (4076) arrived at Madrid on delivery as EZY8001 on 3/11, while G-EZFO (4080) is due to be delivered to Stansted on 13/11.
Emirates B773 A6-ECW (38981) made its first flight on 5/11.
Eurocypria B738 5B-DBX (33699) was ferried from Larnaca to Perpignan as ECA006P on 2/11 prior to winter lease to Sunwing A/L. C-GLBW (30671) has been returned to Sunwing A/L & left Perpignan as SWG9007 on 4/11 bound for Toronto, routing via Quebec. 
Eurowings B463 D-AEWB (E3183), currently stored at Southend, was restored to the UK register as G-BUHB on 2/11. CRJ9 D-ACNH (15247) left Montreal/Mirabel on 5/11 on its delivery flight to Nuremberg. The aircraft wears Lufthansa Regional scheme.
Flybe B461 G-JEAO (E1010) & B463 G-JEBF (E3202) were both cancelled from the UK register on 2/11 as permanently withdrawn from use. Also see under Olympic Air.
Flyglobespan B738 G-CDEG (33022) was ferried from Lasham to Manchester via Newquay for painting on 2/11.

Gulf Air has returned B773 VT-JEK (35165) to Jet A/W. It flew its last service for Gulf Air on 28/10 & was ferried from Bahrain to Delhi on 30/10, before re-entering service with Jet A/W on 2/11. This was the last B773 operated by Gulf Air, though they are currently negotiating a further wet-lease deal
Hellenic Imperial B742 SX-TID (23502) left Athens on 1/11 bound for Basra, while SX-TIE (23590) departed for Abidjan on 2/11 & SX-TIB was ferried to Niamey on 6/11. All three are for Hajj operations.

Privatair B737BBJ HB-IIQ (30752) was ferried from Dusseldorf to Geneva on 4/11, before departing to Basel on 5/11 & then to Amman on 6/11 on delivery to a new operator.
Quantum Air B717s EC-HUZ (55066) & EC-JZX (55065) have recently been painted all white prior to return to the lessor. These are being withdrawn due to low demand for the airline's flights & the remaining B717s are to be returned next year in a swap for some larger MD-80s.
Ryanair B738 EI-EFZ (38489) made its first flight on 30/10, followed by EI-EGA (38490) on 3/11, EI-EGB (38491) on 4/11 & EI-EGC (38492) on 5/11. EI-EFW (35018) & EI-EFX (35019) arrived at Dublin on delivery on 6/11. Scheduled delivery dates for the six B738s still due this month are:

Thomas Cook A320 G-KKAZ (2003) has once more become C-FZAZ for winter lease to Skyservice & left Manchester as SSV9503 on 5/11 bound for Toronto. B752 G-WJAN (28674) has become C-FFAN again & also left Manchester on 5/11 bound for Toronto & winter lease to Skyservice. A321 G-DHJH (1238) was ferried from Manchester to Copenhagen on 4/11 on lease to the airline's Scandinavian subsidiary & A332 OY-VKF (309) was ferried from Gatwick to Stockholm/Arlanda as TCX332P on 1/11 on return to Scandinavia after summer lease.

Thomson A/W B752 G-OOBF (33101) left Gatwick on 2/11 as TOM9203 bound for Greensboro, NC, presumably for winglet installation. A320 C-GTDH (1605) left Belfast on 2/11 as SSV301 on return to Skyservice following summer lease, while B752 C-GTBB (32447) left Manchester as SSV9301 on 6/11 also on return to Skyservice. B733 G-THOE (26313) left Luton on 2/11 as OD-HAJ on delivery to Beirut for Wings of Lebanon.
Titan A/W is expected to take delivery of B463 G-BUHB (E3183) shortly. This aircraft was most recently with Eurowings as D-AEWB & it undertook an acceptance flight from Southend as AWC146T on 5/11.
Transavia B738 PH-HZA (28373) flew its last revenue service on 31/10 as TRA944 from Dalaman to Amsterdam. It was ferried to Prague on 1/11 as TRA059 prior to return to the lessor. Both PH-HZB (28374) & PH-HZC (28375) will also be withdrawn before the end of the year.
Travel Service is to return A320 YL-LCF (0446) to SmartLynx & it was ferried from Prague to Budapest on 1/11. It is now known that the two B738s recently returned to TUIfly, HA-LKC (27991) & HA-LKD (27985), are to go to CanJet in mid December.
TUIfly Germany B738 D-AHFN (28228) entered the paint shop at Shannon on 4/11 & it is understood that it is destined for Luxair. The airline will lease six 737-800s to CanJet this winter. This is two more than in 2008 & four more than in 2007. The preliminary schedule for the repainting of the TUIfly aircraft (mentioned last week) into Air Berlin scheme is as follows:

Adria A320 S5-AAC (0114) has become XY-AGG with Myanmar A/W International & was ferried from Kuala Lumpur to Mingaladon on 27/10 following painting into full scheme.
Aeroflot A333 VQ-BCQ (1058) was delivered from Toulouse to Moscow/Sheremetyevo on 29/10. It wears Sky Team colours. A321 VQ-BEA (4058) is at Finkenwerder awaiting delivery. VQ-BED (4074) made its first flight on 20/10 as D-AVZT. Also at Finkenwerder, VQ-BEE (4099) is nearing completion, VQ-BEF (4103) was noted recently in the paint shop & VQ-BEG (4116) is on the production line. 
Air Berlin DHC-8 D-ABQJ (4274) arrived at Berlin/Tegel on delivery on 24/10. This was the last of the ten aircraft ordered by the airline. B733 D-ADIJ (25041) was ferried from Ostrava to Eindhoven on 24/10 for painting & is to join Boliviana de Aviacion as CP-2552. A320 D-ABFA (4101) was noted this week fully painted at Finkenwerder. Air Dolomiti B463 I-ADJG (E3169), which was recently restored to the UK register as G-BSNS, has become ZS-SMO for Bionic Aviation & left Kemble on 27/10 for Malaga.
Air France accepted its first A388, F-HPJA (33) at Finkenwerder on 30/10 & it was flown to Paris/CDG the same day. This is the first of twelve for the airline & will be introduced on the Paris/CDG to New York/JFK route next month, where it will replace two rotations currently flown by B777s. At 538 seats, this will be the highest-density configuration aircraft delivered to date. Following New York/JFK, the next destinations are thought to be Dubai & Johannesburg. A320 F-GKXU (4063) made its first flight on 29/9 as F-WWBF & was delivered from Toulouse to Paris/CDG as AFR372V on 28/10. F-GKXV (4084) made its first flight on 29/10 as D-AVVA, while F-GKXX (4105) was noted unpainted at Finkenwerder on 28/10. Air Slovakia B752 OM-ASA (24370) was registered to Pegasus Aviation as N580SH on 19/10 & left Istanbul en route to Miami, FL on 23/10.
Alitalia MD-11F EI-UPA (48426) was registered as N986AR for Centurion Air Cargo on 23/10 & ferried from Dothan, AL to Acadiana RAP, LA for painting on 27/10. B763 EI-CRO (29383), which was temporarily registered N171LF for ILFC, has become 5Y-KYY for Kenya A/W & was delivered from Miami, FL to Nairobi on 25/10. A320 EI-DTK (4075) made its first flight on 7/10 as F-WWBN & was flown from Toulouse to Finkenwerder the same day, before returning to Toulouse on 14/10. EI-DTL (4108) made its first flight on 29/10 as F-WWDS & was ferried from Toulouse to Chateauroux in full scheme the same day (possibly for storage as delivery not due until December?).
AnadoluJet moved a step closer to putting B737 N297MD (34297) into service when it was ferried from Shannon to Istanbul on 30/10.
Arkefly returned B752 C-FLOX (26158) to Skyservice A/L after summer lease when it left Amsterdam on 26/10 bound for Toronto as SSV9801.
Astraeus B752 G-STRW (24543) flew its last revenue service from Keflavik to Gatwick as AEU501W on 30/10 & then positioned to Lasham the same day as AEU501P at the end of its summer lease to the airline. A320 G-STRP (0136) left Southend on 27/10, visiting several UK airports during the day before landing at Gatwick where it has remained ever since. It is still all white & devoid of titles.
Atlantic A/W B463 OY-FJE (E3234) was ferried from Vagar (Faroe Islands) to Southend on 23/10 as FLI0100 at the end of its lease.
Avient Aviation is adding a MD-11F to its fleet. N408SH (48408 ex HL7372, N988PG, PR-LGD) was noted at Miami, FL in full scheme on 25/10 awaiting delivery & it will, presumably, join the Zimbabwean register. The carrier also currently operates:

G-BNLH (24050) left Cardiff as BAW9151 on 25/10 also bound for Victorville, CA. G-BNLA (23908) was ferried from LHR to Cardiff for storage on 26/10 as BAW9172, having flown its last revenue service as BAW34N from Miami, FL arriving back at LHR that same morning. A320 G-BUSG (0039) was ferried from LHR to Gatwick on 23/10 as BAW9266, apparently for a period of storage.
British A/W Cityflyer B463 G-BZAX (E3356) was ferried from Kemble to Norwich on 27/10 as CFE02P for painting. EMB170 G-LCYF (17000298) joined the UK register on 29/10 & is due to arrive at Exeter on delivery on 31/10.
Centurion Air Cargo MD-11F N701GC (48434), operating CWC431 from Miami, FL to Montivideo, made a heavy landing in fog at its destination. The starboard main gear was badly damaged & it is suspected that the starboard wing spar is also damaged. The aircraft may be a write-off. Also see under Alitalia.
CSA A320 OK-GEB (1450) left Prague on 24/10 en route to La Tontouta, Noumea on a four-week lease to Aircalin.
Cyprus A/W A320 5B-DBB (0256) was ferried from Larnaca to Shannon as CYP014P on 28/10, possibly for storage.
Denim Air Fk100 PH-LNE (11322) was delivered from Woensdrecht to Rotterdam on 28/10.
EasyJet B737 G-EZJT (3245) flew its last revenue service on 27/10 as EZY558 from Belfast to Newcastle & was then ferried to Southend as EZY8001 that evening prior to return to the lessor. A319 G-EZFN (4076) made its first flight at Finkenwerder on 15/10 as D-AVYV & was flown to Dinard the following day (presumably for painting?) before returning to Finkenwerder on 26/10. G-EZFO (4080) made its first flight on 21/10 as D-AVYW & was ferried from Finkenwerder to Dinard on 26/10. G-EZFP (4087) made its first flight on 26/10 as D-AVYX.
Emirates B773 A6-ECV (35594) left Paine Field, WA on 29/10 on its delivery flight to Dubai. A6-ECW (38981) & A6-ECX (38982) were both noted of the production line last week.
FinnComm ATR72 OH-ATK (848) was delivered to Helsinki back on 9/10.
Flyglobespan B738 G-CEJP (29646) was ferried from Norwich to Lasham in full Ethiopian scheme as GSM733E on 27/10.

Freebird A320 TC-FBY (0283), which reverted to its previous marks of N754US back on 6/10, was ferried from Zurich to Keflavik on 28/10. I had expected this to go a Bulgarian operator, but this now looks less likely.
Hello MD-90 HB-JIC (53576) was flown from Basle to Stockholm/Arlanda on 25/10 for maintenance before being ferried to the USA where it will join Delta A/L as N919DN. Sister ship HB-JIB (53553) is due to follow on 31/10 & will also join Delta A/L as N918DH.
Iberworld A333 EC-JHP (670) joined the European exodus on 20/10, when it left Madrid bound for Adi Sumarmo & lease to Garuda for the Hajj.
JAL B773 JA743J (36130) left Paine Field, WA on delivery on 28/10.

Kalitta Air has a "new" B742F N704CK (23391 ex JA8171). This former JAL machine was registered on 19/10 & ferried from Victorville, CA to Oscoda-Wurtsmith, MI two days later. It replaces the previous N704CK (22299 ex B-1894, B-18752), which was written-off at Brussels on 25/05/08. Prior to that, the registration had been used on a B741F (20528 ex JA8112), which was allocated N40489 in 2003 before being broken up at Oscoda-Wurtsmith, MI soon after.

Lufthansa A321 D-AISX (4073) made its first flight on 20/10 & was delivered from Finkenwerder to Frankfurt on 28/10 as DLH8851. D-AISZ (4085) made its first flight on 27/10 as D-AVZW. D-AIZA (4097) left the paint shop at Finkenwerder this week, while D-AIZB (4120) is well advanced on the production line.
MK A/L B742F G-MKHA (23071) has escaped the scrapman's axe as it was ferried from Kemble to Filton on 25/10 as BGB123 & then positioned to Luxembourg as BGB902 on 30/10.

Oman Air A332 A4O-DC (1049) was delivered from Toulouse to Muscat as OMA024 on 26/10. A333 A4O-DD (1063) was ferried from Toulouse to Chateauroux as F-WWYN on 23/10.
Orbest A332 CS-TRA (461) was ferried from Lisbon to Stockholm/Arlanda as OBS029P on 29/10 for winter lease to Novair.
Petro Air Fk100 9A-BTE (11416) positioned from Zagreb to Tripoli on 30/10 for operations by Trade Air.
Ryanair will reportedly retire no further B738s before December next year. A further eight are due for delivery during November - EI-EFV (35017), EI-EFW (35018), EI-EFX (35019), EI-EFY (35020), EI-EFZ (38489), EI-EGA (38490), EI-EGB (38491) & EI-EGC (38492). The first four have already made their maiden flights, the fifth & sixth have appeared on the flightline & the other two are next to each other on the Renton production line.
S7 A/L A310 VP-BTK (427) left Moscow/Domodedovo on 29/10 bound for Orlando/Sanford, FL & scrapping. 
Saga A/L B738 TC-SGI (28069) now sports Ariana Afghan titles & tail logo & has been in service on the route from Istanbul to Kabul since 24/10. A333 TC-SGJ (407) has been repainted into full THY scheme prior to Hajj operations.
SAS A343 OY-KBM (450) joined the ever-growing collection of stored aircraft at Lourdes when it was flown there from Zurich in an all white scheme for storage on 28/10.
SAT A/L took delivery of former Maersk B735 RA-73013 (28721 ex OY-APH) on 29/10 when it was delivered from Moscow/Vnukovo to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
SATA ATP CS-TGX (2025) has been painted all white & was ferried from Norwich to Southend on 26/10 for preparation for Air Aceh of Indonesia, to whom it should be delivered next month.

Thomas Cook A320 G-VCED (0193) is due to be retired on 2/11 & will be broken up. The following are due to be withdrawn from service & returned to the lessors next year - A320s G-BYTH (0429) & G-GTDL (0476) both in February plus B752 G-JMCF (24369) in March.
Thomson A/W B733 G-THOE (26313) had the markings OD-HAJ reapplied at Luton on 28/10 & was cancelled from the UK register the same day. It was still in an all white scheme.

Travel Service Hungary has returned B738s, HA-LKC (27991) & HA-LKD (27985), to TUIfly Germany. They may revert to their previous marks of D-AHFK & D-AHFL respectively, though both are reported to be up for sale. HA-LKC was ferried from Budapest to Hannover on 28/10. However, HA-LKB (30294 ex OK-TVE, HA-LKB, OK-TVI) has now rejoined fleet from the parent company.
TUIfly Germany. The following aircraft will be painted into Air Berlin colours over the next few months & will be used on routes recently transferred to Air Berlin - B737s D-AHIA (29082), D-AHXA (30714), D-AHXB (30717), D-AHXC (34693), D-AHXD (30726), D-AHXE (35135), D-AHXF (35136), D-AHXG (35140), D-AHXH (35282), D-AHXI (35141) & D-AHXJ (35277) plus B738s D-AHFS (28623) & D-AHFW (30882). United A/L B744 N193UA (26890) moved storage locations on 22/10 when it was ferried from Goodyear, AZ to Victorville, CA.
Viking A/L returned its two leased Canadian-registered B738s to Sunwing A/L on 27/10. Both set off for Toronto, with C-FEAK (30292) leaving from Manchester, while C-FYLC (33029) departed from Gatwick as SWG9001.
Virgin Atlantic B744 G-VROM (32339) arrived back at Gatwick from Amsterdam on 28/10 as VIR812P. It has a silver fuselage with a light green tail & red engine cowlings & the registration is taped on. It is due to become CP-2603 prior to departing to Santa Cruz, Bolivia at 17.00 on 31/10 on delivery to AeroSur.
Wizz Air A320 HA-LPY (4109) is currently on the production line at Finkenwerder.

Aeroflot A333 VP-BCQ (1058), currently flying as F-WWYX, is painted in Sky Team colours & should be delivered to the carrier in the near future.

Aerolineas Argentinas' business plan calls for the resumption of several international routes that it has abandoned over the past few years, including European destinations such as Paris & London. To this end the airline is considering buying or leasing six A330s & seven A340s.

Air France A320 F-GFKK (0100) left Paris/CDG on 22/10 as AFR384V bound for Orlando/Sanford, FL, possibly for scrapping.
Air Transat A332 C-GITS (271) left Montreal as TSC1001 on 18/10 en route to Hasanudin (Indonesia) on lease to Garuda for Hajj duties, with C-GGTS (250) following as TSC1002 two days later.
Alitalia has disposed of a second B763 to Omni Air International. I-DEIL (28147) was registered as N378AX on 14/10 & was ferried from Rome/Fiumicino to Tel Aviv on 18/10 for maintenance & painting.
Astraeus B752 G-OJIB arrived back at Gatwick from Norwich on 18/10 as AEU008P all white with Saudi Arabian titles. It then left for Jeddah later that day as AEU108 bound for Hajj operations. G-STRX (25621), which was already in a similar scheme, arrived at Gatwick from RAF Brize Norton the same day as AEU737P, before also departing for Jeddah as AEU004P.
Belair A320 HB-IOU (3006 ex D-ABDM) was delivered from Dusseldorf to Zurich as BER444P on 17/10 still sporting the old Air Berlin scheme. B763 HB-ISE (27600) positioned from Zurich to Gatwick as BHP116F on 23/10 to operate a flight to New York/JFK as BHP1142. It is understood that the aircraft is to be returned to the lessor on its arrival back at Zurich.

Bellview had hoped to resume its Heathrow service on 1/11, but this looks increasingly unlikely since it has now also cancelled all regional operations & IATA has suspended its B3 code.
BMI Baby B733 G-TOYB (26311) flew its last revenue service from Paris/CDG to East Midlands on 13/10 as BMI5254 & was then ferried to Sofia the following day as BMI9411 for, it is thought, end-of-lease maintenance.  
Bulgaria Air B463 LZ-HBF (E3159) was ferried back from Tirana to Sofia on 21/10 following lease to Belle Air. 
Cathay Pacific B773 B-KPL (36161) left Paine Field, WA on delivery on 17/10. It sports One World scheme.
CSA B734 OK-WGX (25349) returned to Prague on 18/10 following lease to Nayzak Air. OK-FGS (28478) was ferried to Norwich as CSA9360 on 18/10 for maintenance.
DHL B763F G-DHLG (37807) arrived at East Midlands on delivery from Greensboro, NC on 19/10 as DHK973.
EasyJet former B737 G-EZJA (30235), now N384DF for Aerolineas Argentinas, left Southend on its delivery flight on 20/10. G-EZJB (30236) performed its last revenue flight on 23/10 as EZY2284 from Milan/Malpensa to Luton & was then ferried to Southend as EZY8001, also for preparation for Aerolineas Argentinas.
EgyptAir B738 SU-GDD (35566) arrived at Cairo on delivery on 21/10.
Emirates B773 A6-ECV (35594) made its first flight on 19/10.
Ethiopian A/L has leased a second MD-11F. ET-AND (48780) was originally operated by Citybird & Sabena as OO-CTC before joining Finnair as OH-LGE & then being registered to Boeing Aircraft as N588BC.
Euro Atlantic A/W L-1011 CS-TEB (1240) & B763 CS-TLO (24318) left Lisbon on 23/10 destined for Ilorin & Lagos respectively to undertake Hajj operations on behalf of Med-View A/L.
Eurowings B463 D-AEWN (E3158) left Exeter on 15/10 routing via Nuremberg to Bacau, where it arrived on 19/10 for further storage. D-AEWM (3125) was ferried from Frankfurt to Exeter as DLH9920 on 23/10 prior to return to the lessor.
Flyglobespan B738 G-CDEG (33022) was ferried from Glasgow to Lasham as GSM738P on 19/10 prior to lease to a new operator, while G-CEJP (29646) was relocated from Lasham to Norwich the same day as GSM733P for painting into Ethiopian A/L scheme. B763s G-CDPT (29388) & G-CEOD (30586) left Glasgow on 19/10 en route to Jeddah for Hajj duties on behalf of Nas Air. The former displayed no callsign, but the latter used GSM802P.
HiFly A332 CS-TFZ (1008) left Lisbon on 20/10 for Palembang (Indonesia) & Hajj duties on behalf of Garuda.
Korean Air B772 HL7733 (34206) has been painted in Sky Team scheme.
Lufthansa. Having been expected to go to Pinal Air Park/Marana, AZ, B744 D-ABTA (24285) was ferried from Frankfurt to Hamburg on 20/10 for long-term storage. A321 D-AISW (4054) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Frankfurt on 23/10.
Lufthansa Cargo MD-11F D-ALCE (48785) was ferried from Leipzig to Frankfurt on 17/10 following a period of storage.
Luzair B763 CS-TQI (25221) left Lisbon on 18/10 bound for Jeddah & Hajj operations.
Northwest Cargo B742F N640US (23888) left Los Angeles on 22/10 destined for storage at Pinal Air Park/Marana, AZ.
Norwegian Air Shuttle confirmed an order for a further six B738s on 23/10. This takes the airline's total order book for new B738s to forty-eight.
Olympic Air A320 SX-OAP (4065) was delivered from Toulouse to Chateauroux for painting on 21/10.
Pullmantur Air B744s EC-KQC (26549) & EC-KSM (27178) left Madrid on 19/10 as PLM620P & PLM200P respectively, bound for Jakarta & Hajj operations on behalf of Garuda.
Qantas B744 VH-OJS (25564) now sports a special "Socceroos" scheme.
Qatar A/W B772LR A7-BBC (36015) made its first flight on 19/10. B773 A7-BAG (36014) left Paine Field, WA on 20/10 on delivery to Doha.
Ryanair B738 EI-EFW (35018) & EI-EFX (35019) made their first flights on 19/10 & were followed on 22/10 by EI-EFY (35020).
SAS CRJ9 OY-KFL (15246) left Montreal/Mirabel on 18/10 on its delivery flight to Copenhagen.
SATA ATP CS-TGX (2025) was ferried from Oporto to Norwich on 19/10 for painting.
Swiss International A332s HB-IQJ (294) & HB-IQK (299) were noted at Zurich on 20/10 in full Vietnam A/L scheme wearing VN-A372 & VN-A374 respectively. The latter also still carried its Swiss registration.
Tailwind A/L is to lease a further two ex Alaskan A/L B734s to add to the three already in service. These are due to be N784AS (28199) & N785AS (27628) with deliveries scheduled for January & May respectively.
Thomas Cook A332 G-MLJL (254) was ferried from Manchester to Stockholm/Arlanda on 18/10 as TCX360P on winter lease to Thomas Cook Scandinavia & G-OMYT (301) also left Manchester the same day for Oslo as TCX32P also on lease to the Scandinavian subsidiary. A320 G-TCAC (1411), which left Manchester on 15/10 on winter lease to Skyservice, became C-FRAA again the following day.
Thomas Cook Scandinavia A333s OY-VKH (356) & OY-VKI (357) arrived at Manchester on 19/10 as VKG9997 & VKG9995 respectively for preparation for lease to Garuda for Hajj operations. OY-VKI was then flown to Bahrain as TCX333P on 19/10, followed by OY-VKH as TCX398P the next day.
Thomson A/W G-OBYF (28208) left Greensboro, NC on 19/10 destined for Stockholm/Arlanda as TOM9208P following winglet installation, while G-OBYD (28042) arrived back at Manchester from Greensboro, NC on 21/10 now also sporting winglets. Heading in the other direction, G-OBYH (28883) left Luton on 21/10 bound for winglet fitting. G-OBYE (28979) left Luton on 20/10 as TOM9801 en route to Al Ain for Hajj operations. B733 G-THOE (26313), which is due to become OD-HAJ with Wings of Lebanon, made a test flight from Bournemouth as TOM9030 on 19/10.
TMA reportedly intends to resume flying from Beirut. The airline suspended operations four years ago & its last two airworthy B707s, OD-AGO (19269) & OD-AGP (19274) were put into storage there. Whether the airline will attempt to revive these old machines, or whether it will acquire new aircraft, remains to be seen.
United A/L is in discussions with both Airbus & Boeing regarding placing an order for replacements for its B747/757/767/777 fleet. A decision is expected before year-end.
Virgin Atlantic B744 G-VROM (32339) flew its last revenue service on 16/10 as VIR70 from Kingston, Jamaica to Gatwick. It was then ferried to Amsterdam the following day as VIR811 & is destined for delivery to AeroSur next month.
Vladivostok Avia A333 VQ-BEQ (86) left Shannon as VLK1777 on delivery to Moscow/Vnukovo on 16/10. The airline's A333s are to be used mainly on domestic services, though one international destination will be Tianjin, China.
Welcome Air is believed to be in negotiations to take over Air Alps.
