
Another
aircraft type leaves Alitalia fleet after the retirement of MD-80. After 17 years of
service Alitalia has withdrawn its last
three Boeing B767-300ERs from scheduled service over the course of the last couple of
days with EI-DDW (MSN 26608) completing the last flight from Lagos Murtala
Muhammad via Accra Kotoka to Rome Fiumicino in the morning of October 25.
Alitalia's
long-haul fleet now consists of twelve A330-200 and ten B777-200ERs
