The Grand Chancellor hotel is located only a five minute drive from the Domestic Terminals. No views of the airport can be seen from the hotel, although you can see some departures from a distance on a clear day.
Spotting from the Terminals
Spotting at Auckland is easily done. You can either spot from a cafe area which leads on to an open air viewing area located on the upper level of the Domestic Terminal, or from the Viewing Mall located above the International Terminal.
