OK, this is a simple contest: I'll post a cockpit shot, and the first that gets it right wins the rights to post the next cockpit...! So if you guess correct I will tell you & you post your own! please post! Or you will kill the fun... once you dump here your mystery- cockpit you are the one who declares the next winner of course!
Have fun!!
A Mariooo ..... !!!!!
Centro!
è lui ... a te il prossimo!!
(Rapier, ci conosciamo già?)
OK, rapier you have it right! PD-808, go ahead, and post the next !!
My proposal :
No, Mario ...... non ci conosciamo .....
Northrop ..... ?
Aaaaaaaaarrrrrgh ..........
oops! meant north-american!!
was it that one??
OK,I searched around and in fact it was an XB-70 ... now for another!
bae trident
I knew it was too easy ... go ahead & post a hard one!
Ah.. missed it just by the time it takes to "log on", hehe.
Interesting how each aircraft manufacturer keep their rules on cockpit and panel arrangement, partly due to an established partnership with their suppliers. In the Trident you have the Hawker-Siddeley trademark "bicycle" flight yoke, which appeared in Concorde and continues today in Hawker business jets. The "T" outlined arrangement of 4 main instruments appears on the Concorde too.
Regards,
Alan
Just missed out on that one.....ok if i post one
EB10038 was the one who had to post his own ... andthis thingy looks like a C-17
Again, web search confirms this as a C-17 .... so for another ... really hard one!!
Nardi/Siai Marchetti FN-333 "Riviera" .....
Un altro tuo cavallo di battaglia ......
It is like my girl car....
Rapier ... you know my Flight Simulator models ... it's not fair! (If I knew it before I would have posted another...hahaha)
So as you got the FN-333 right, post another ...
My proposal ......
4-engined russian jet ... chances it could be an Ilyushin IL-62?
Ilyushin 76 comrade?
Congratulations, Mario ..... !!!!!
..... You are right ..... Il-62M .....
OK, this time It's easy!
At first the triangular windscreen led me to think about the Convair F-106 Delta Dart ..... but the control column lacked the peculiar forked shape.
So, after (not so) long thought .....
BLACKBIRD !!!
Immortal SR-71 Blackbird! Right on spot!!
Go ahead with your own ...
Thanks .....
Now, another proposal :
